RE NED's

These are generally unemployable individuals. They cost lots of money and generally get in the way. Trouble is big brother says you have to have them.

But they do have indirect significance for if they resign suddenly you know it's time to get out and quickly. So keep checking they're in post.

The hole point for me was we are targeting 250 a 12 hour shift and back then they where looking a 500 a 12 hour shift.
So realistically 250 now should be a non effort event

I was trawling through a lot of Petroteq stuff on the internet yesterday and came across this Zacks Small Cap Research report dated April 2019.

It looks back at hopes and aspirations from 2011 onwards and there is a lot of goals that should be taken with a large pinch of salt as through time the company never achieved them, I think mainly through finance issues, which ultimately leads us to where we are today in that Petroteq need the help from Valkor, Greenfield etc. for their plans to come to fruition.

There is a whole section on the plant relocation from one area to another and the reasoning behind it etc. It also has lots of info on the leases they have on Asphalt Ridge (this was the main info I was looking for) and it seems they have a few areas of specific interest on the ridge, perhaps one of these areas is being looked at by Greenfield?

Make sure you have a large mug of coffee to get through it, there is a lot of good infomation in it.

At this moment in time I feel informed about where we are at and am still confident about progress being made in Utah. If there were whispers of bad news then we would be seeing more than a few million sells, daily macro movements either way are to be expected.

As the next couple of weeks pass I am expecting us to be updated on the project goals I listed.


I am disappointed the new NEDs have not taken some pressure off JP and provided a better conduit between the board and shareholders.

From the Petroteq news.
As at the close of business on January 22, 2021, the POSP had ?produced over 150 barrels of net oil in solvent. The Company is now in the process of optimizing plant operating ?parameters to meet oil product specifications and optimize solvent usage and recovery. This phase is expected to ?last a couple of weeks. Thereafter, initial continuous production is expected to begin with a single, 12-hour shift targeting 250 ?bpd and ramping up in the event a second shift can be added.?

V .. I was anticipating news a week or so ago and the fact that we haven't heard anything makes me think that either there is something awesome happening or the opposite .. just a feeling.

Such is the life of an AIM listed shareholder. These 'half empty, half full' feelings are in no way exclusive to Tomco!

It has been well documented on here by many, including myself, that Q1 is a pivotal month for Tom. So far, 6 weeks in, the only official news we have is of the 100b production with the ramp up plan so it is no wonder sentiment is waning with the 'no news is bad news' feeling taking over for many.

It is time for Tomco to start doing what it says it will do. In Q1 we need to hear about the new site, 250 barrel production, sampling to QFI, 3rd party verification, FEED study and progress on funding for the plant. I have been a long time (very long time!) supporter of Tomco and I still have faith and every confidence in the current team but we now need to see that list start to come to fruition.

Sentiment can change in the flick of a pen.

I'm erring on the side now that Greenfield is offered a bigger slice of the pie by covering the Bond. Unless SB pumps in more money at risk, that would be the safest play for PQE. Goods news with the production numbers and little ol Tom could be on a winner.
