“ I foresee the fx rate becoming a regular topic on here! It will be very significant.”

Oh great. We have the pleasure of Brad pointing out in endless messages the fx rate between £ and aussie $. Something we all see for ourselves. Still it will keep him busy and make him think he is adding to the Tlou narrative.

Brad - remember I started posting 6+ months ago at the end of each week - Another week gone; where is the funding??

PS the fx would be irrelevant if the stupid share was trading at or above the price when most shareholders bought in ...

Have you sold up Donk? You really should if you truly feel that way.
Mine was the only deal on ASX last night. In a vain attempt to cover my placings I managed 20k @ 4.3c, changed to 4.2c, 4.1c , 4c and finally back to 4.2c and into auction.

Nothing doing so cancelled the rest and thank my lucky stars it was 20k , it could have been 1 share. So the share price should be 4.3c by my reckoning until Monday.

Out of interest how would you have described the BDC progress? It is not in infancy for absolute certain, similarly , not completed yet.

Expected to conclude on Monday? Definitely ADVANCED!
Expected to conclude on Tuesday? Definitely ADVANCED!
Expected to conclude in a matter of days? ADVANCED?
Expected to conclude in a matter of weeks? ADVANCED?
Expected to conclude in a matter of months? What?
Expected to conclude soon, signing date tba (i.e. one of the above)? What?

I suggest you tell Tony what word he should have used! You don't use any imagination Donk.

Trades screen shows a 4.3c buy - the buy price was 4.5c until I offered to sell @ 4.3c ..... so definitely my sell?
Some idiot trying to buy at 3.9c made it look like a buy! Have to try and do better on AIM now but recent spreads look brighter than ASX - maybe because the Aussies have been told what their allocation is. Perhaps dividing by 6 is too difficult for some of them :O) Not knocking Aussies, it applies here too. Once the brokers do that calculation for some here, I'm expecting to 2.2p rather than 2.3p+!

FTSE platform trading in pence is more flexible than ASX which restricts you to tenths of a cent. 4.15c is not possible because they trade in dollars so 0.041 is ok but not 0.0415 (they only allow 3 decimal places).

“Funding negotiations with BDC are at an advanced stage. BDC are working on a term sheet with project due diligence to follow”

If you guys genuinely don’t get the point here - well really you deserve all the good luck coming your way !

I'm impressed you picked that up out of quite a long document.

The word "funding" is only mentioned twice, in your quote and on Page 11...
"Mamba Project Exploration and Evaluation
Independently certified gas reserves in place
Additional exploration drilling planned subject to funding
Project area ~4,500 Km2"

The word advanced in Mamba's case would be very appropriate if it is due anytime this year. I am trying to think of a funding position that is not "advanced".
To be "advanced" you'd need to know ....
1. What the funds are going to be used for.
2. How much is needed and when.
3. When repayments commence, their frequency and how many.
4. What security is offered/penalties are due if the repayments cannot be met.

The first 3 are pretty well clear , 2 yrs before repayments, 8 year of clearing the debt. When the funds are due depends on covid related issues, item 4 is a necessary evil which will apply whenever the funds are provided.

Covid issues are what they are - do they lessen the advanced state of negotiations?
If we cannot meet the repayments over the next 10 years+, the business will be worthles. If you don't have faith in TLOU to create a success over 10 years it is well past time to sell up?

Bottom of slide 14, Corporate Presentation dated 15 June 2020 - as above - “Funding negotiations with BDC are at an advanced stage. BDC are working on a term sheet with project due diligence to follow”.

I believe covid has its genesis in Feb / March - so there goes that defence Brad.

The point being - if one does not yet have a term sheet in place, how on earth can one justify saying that “funding negotiations” are at an Advanced stage. Check your Investopedia before rushing to criticise the messenger....

As best, disingenuous reporting by Tlou management. At worse, guilty of misleading shareholders with misrepresentation of status of discussions with BDC.

Your best post ever Brad. Good one !

Market re-rating imminent.

Spread on ASX is unusually wide. Somebody knows something.

Don’t be concerned at AIM share price close to all time lows. Tony knows what he is doing.

“Funding negotiations with BDC are at an Advanced Stage. BDC are working on a term sheet with project due diligence to follow.“ Free advice - check what term sheet negotiation means in practice and then come back and explain to me how Tlou can claim negotiations are at an advanced stage. They haven’t even got an agreed term sheet FFS. Advanced does not mean you been to someone’s office for a couple of meetings and everyone was smiling.... A plc cannot make such ridiculous claims!!! Except of course if you are TG /Tlou - he says pretty much WTF he likes.

I don’t think he is LT. He thinks he knows stuff coz he read it somewhere. Got to admire his consistency though - years of research and posting basically the same old twaddle. He seems to have forgotten the company has delivered precisely FA in 10+ years of spending. And whilst they have a 2mw PPA, they still have to deliver on that.

The line to Serowe is going to be needed one day because 2Mw was always an entry point merely to de-risk funding for the future by proving TLOU had the wherewithal to supply the Southern African grid with lots more in the near future.

TG is paving the way for both Solar and CBM in a choice of countries so if Botswana mess us around we can go elsewhere. If you spent more time watching a master at work instead of finding non-existent faults you'd see how he and his merry men keep our options open. Quite a feat with so many imponderables being thrown at them.

I posted an interactive map on Central District which showed how spartan the populace is. Serowe has 60k people and is about the only sizeable town outside Gabarone.
Serowe is the plan - it makes sense on all fronts imho. Much better than hamlets of one or two hundred people and less.

Sadly for all shareholders now, the exit price is going to be nowhere, absolutely nowhere, near the price Tidd and team were trying to orchestrate back in 2016/17.

Once the $3m (or whatever amount) is raised, I wonder what the next excuse will be for lack of progress in the last 4 months of this year.

I think Tlou is the one in pieces. About 450m pieces, so let’s see how they manage to grow shareholder value next. They have done a good job of destroying it for however many years so ... can they turn things around? Going to take a long time me’thinks.
