I've posted our reverse Catch 22 situation on LSE, as I see it Donk.

We need the PPA, yes?
Once we have the PPA, BDC are hopefully raring to go on funding us, I believe that too.
We cannot complete the PPA because the start and end dates cannot be estimated due to lockdown.
Mr Moagi needs those dates to sign anything , surely FACT! It is meaningless else!

He's prepared to accept whatever flow rates we have, and the resultant power, and realistic estimates for the timings, bless him!

But lockdown makes it impossible to produce an estimate.

We are hamstrung by the PM, but May 21st could open up the workplace for us - and Catch 22 will no longer exist.

Isn't that our situation? It seems so obvious to me.

And what exactly are Tlou going to recommence doing? They now need cash rather than gas, and they won’t find the cash in Selemo or Serowe or Lesedi.

The cash was supposed to be coming from BDC - Where Is It ??

Was Tony &/or Colm guilty of incorrect guidance to shareholders on this matter? Previous communications implied (may even have said) this was a done deal - show me the money !! Or at least say amount $X has been approved (since Brad has a silly bee in his bonnet that Tony doesn’t want unnecessary cash lying in the bank account not working).

'2 negatives make a positive though" e.g. -(-1) = +1

May 21st may be the day if Gabarone has been given the thumbs up.

What are the chances of the area from Lesedi to Serowe being cleared for TLOU to resume operations?

‘2 wrongs do not make a right’ so please be advised I will not engage with you in your crude dialogue.

Nice that you found the salt to wash your mouth. Forgive me if I don’t get excited by your post. Why? Because you (or your best mate) posted this on 15th July 2017. Yes 2017 !!

“ The BOD are certainly engaging - this is exactly what the retail investor likes. Interviews, meetings and regular updates are what it is all about. Nobody feels like a mushroom here, the news is very transparent, appropriate and on the button. For those sitting on the fence, look at the research before its too late. Tlou imho is the kind of company you simply dont want to miss - these stupidly low valuations won’t be around forever.”

Now have you anything to offer this board other than infantile sound bytes? Surely you have; otherwise why are you lurking around here .... Surely you can construct a post that shares your wisdom and thinking about Why Tlou might get going places - almost 3 years after your /your mates July 2017 post .....

Gaborone has been placed in immediate lockdown for at least 48 hours due to a confirmed covid person. A driver who entered from S Africa and was in contact with a number of folks in the Gabs area. Quite impressive how they actioned the lockdown so quickly imo.
As usual, M/Minor has declared victory on emergence from lockdown far to early. Arguably Tlou should just mothball everything until 2021.

“ Can I ask a genuine question though about the interim PPA (which isn't actually signed yet?). What actually does that mean in practice? Is it basically saying that the Bots Gov are agreeing to buy the power that we are currently making from our own generators or that they agree to buy power from us once connected to the grid?“

This question was asked on LSE by chestermikeb. A very valid question..

2p or not 2p. There it goes again. Down down, deeper and down. Sadly, ‘the only way is up’ isn’t the case. Blame the lockdown. Blame BDC. Blame the donkey.

Who recently appeared and started posting quality content? And since then, the share has remained in the bowels of the markets. Great omen; great promoter; great result.

Talking of prats - ASX spread is wide cos someone is trying to buy at 6.1c when the offer price is a healthy 7.9c - spoke too soon - there is now another idiot offering his at 6.4c!

So depressing that so many TLOU investors will sell gold for the price of silver - and so close to possible news if Masisi honours his promises on lockdown and frees the economy instead of freezing it.

Why have ADVFN removed Donk's post on royalties being due to Sekaname?
They are destroying this site assuming Donk did not delete his own post, a 0% chance?

I found a record of a virus in 2011 that deleted a posters emails from Outlook.
Nothing on one that attacks message boards, but is it possible you've got one Donk?

TLOU haven't shown where they are in the Mamba district. It looks huge and surrounds the PLANT area, moreso than Lesedi , and Boomslang looks handy too. If we can get 2Mw from that tiny dot on the map, I cannot imagine how much power the whole area will produce.

Mamba has not been given much publicity. I have taken that to be a result of the dewatering taking an unexpected time at Lesedi, perhaps they not committed the drilling equipment in case they need it back at #3 , #4 and #5?

I admit I only know what Tony tells us , and you have posted lots of information. The context largely criticises TLOU management which immediately puts me on the defensive. Tne North of Mamba to the Laydown yard in the south looks a lot further than the Plant to Serowe - it will take great management to handle it all over the next century. We certainly have plenty of space for temporary solar panels until they need those areas for mining in a few decades.

I found this definition of a laydown area. Not a load of sun-beds at all.

A laydown area is an area used for the receipt, temporary storage, and sometimes for the assembly of construction equipment and other supplies. It may also allow parking and access and may provide welfare facilities and utilities.

Your news of royalties being due (3% or 12% depending upon whether we pay royalities on gas or electricity) will probably be news to recent investors. I checked it out after Donk told us several years back.

It is true but only for a few plots , which include PL001/2004 (Lesedi CBM Project).

They don't however include Mamba - which is why I thought they prematurely moved the drills to Mamba from Lesedi. It also showed faith in Lesedi #3 and #4 being up to providing sufficient gas to get a PPA and funding - at that still remains a strong possibility. However TG has mentioned needing further pods to drain Lesedi of water. I guess they hope dewatering will complete soon under its own steam , though #4 is doing the work on its own? Shutting down #3 to preserve the gas probably allows some water to drain under gravity? I guess a U-bend (like a loo pipe) is all that is needed? If they can access the area where it would need to go. I haven't got a mental picture of what it is like down there.
