16/9/2010 09:43 | The auditors fee was £ 17,000 !! not alot but then I reckon they could do the audit in about 3 days !!! | curt3
15/9/2010 15:40 | There really is no justification for paying 300,000 a year in administration fees for someone to keep a spreadsheet of a dozen investments and publish the NAV every quarter. Every single one of us could do this for a few hundred quid- and most of our portfolios would outperform these guys. They should either sell the investments and distribute the cash or do a proper job of investing the surplus cash which has sat around earning diddly. | fairman
14/9/2010 21:33 | Absolutely nothing!?..sorry..th | topvest
31/7/2010 14:35 | Lets hope so. Lots of potential here, if they actually do something! | topvest
30/7/2010 11:17 | Have you noticed that Colin Bird has stepped down as CEO at Jubilee and is now non exec chairman there. More time for Tiger maybe ? | the bull
28/7/2010 17:36 | EML now 2.43p BID (+22%) - so why were those EML not bought for TIR I wonder! | skyship
15/7/2010 08:58 | Seems as though Bruce Rowan still able to act for himself elsewhere; he's bought 7% of EML - the Dattels/Mellon cash vehicle. I was the underbidder for that line - well another 200k anyway - not the 25m he bought! | skyship
08/7/2010 18:39 | hooray!! at last atlast - some action on the company website which has seen update on portfolio. Do hope this is a harbinger for progress !! | curt3
06/7/2010 07:56 | 30th Jun'10 NAV fractionally up over the past Qtr: | skyship
02/7/2010 14:41 | Send them a copy of this, and remind them of the second bullet point. Also send a copy to their advisors. Alternatively send a link of their website to the AIM guys, and ask them to take a look. | tiltonboy
02/7/2010 14:30 | I have written and emailed the company pointing out rthat the portfolio info on its website is hopelessly out of date and incorrect. Holdings in Pan African and Goldfields have been disposed off and yet still appear in the portfolio !!!! Information on other holdings is circa 2008 !!! I asked the question if management was either lazy or incompetent or just didnt give a toss what the investment market thought of them. I have not had a reply !!! As a shareholder I dont think it is too much to ask. Its not a big job to delete a few items on the website. Am I right or am I right ?? | curt3
28/6/2010 09:40 | Yes, nice rise on the BID - now 2.25p-2.50p. Would be good to know whether we still hold those NPE - 450,000 x 180p (up 35% today) = £810k, ie 0.575p/share | skyship
28/6/2010 08:46 | something stirring? mm's have not been this receptive to buy trades for quite a while... | babysitter
26/6/2010 08:41 | Interesting; CB and Rowan must have different views on the way forward. I suspect, well I'm guessing, that Rowan is happy with the status quo and CB wants to do a reverse takeover. The vote must have passed on a show of hands, but Rowan must have decided to put his votes to work to block it. Why not do a tender offer to give BR and any others their money back, and then CB can put the remainder to work on a deal + raise additional funds if necessary? Years of total inactivity seem to be the agenda for BR. Same applies to Gledhow Investments on PLUS. OK, he hasn't lost the money, but not really doing anything. I'm in both! | topvest
26/6/2010 06:54 | Only time will tell....haven't a clue....but anything is better than the morbidity of the Rowan Rule! | skyship
26/6/2010 06:52 | is this cb and br fighting? | ntv
25/6/2010 18:52 | some resignations tomorrow? | the bull
25/6/2010 17:49 | Result of Annual General Meeting: The Company is pleased to announce that resolutions 1, 2, 3 and 6 proposed at the Annual General Meeting held on 24 June 2010 were duly passed. Resolution 4 (authority to allot ordinary shares), Resolution 5 (to dis-apply pre-emption rights) and Resolution 7 (to authorize the directors to purchase Tiger's shares) were passed on a show of hands but were defeated on a poll that was called by the Chairman of the meeting. ==================== Not sure what to make of that. CB calls a poll to defeat his own AGM resolution!!! 1. Anyone got any ideas on the above? 2. Did anyone actually go the AGM? | skyship
15/6/2010 21:23 | I don't seriously think their existing investments are the future here. Mr Bird is about to come up with something different, hopefully! | topvest |
