Nat gas prices are going up (and are generally a lot higher in Asia than Europe or US);Coal is a competing fuel.
When gas shot up in 2022, coal prices followed.
I added to my holding yesterday at 459p and am pretty pleased. |
I have to admit I am somewhat confused by TGA's slow & steady rise over the past 3 months, especially when one considers the fact that the coal price has dropped from $150 down to $117 over the same period, some 22% ?? (Or are we expecting a very upbeat trading announcement come the end of Feb) |

Anyone want to make any suggestions as to the "surge" in the share price over the past couple of months as coal prices themselves have not increased by anywhere near this uplift. Am I missing some news as I can't find anything to support this increase.... |

Just curious, has anybody received their TGA dividend yet. I'm with ii, but mine does not appear to have been credited, which I thought was 23rd Sept (pay date)
