I agree with Mall as I've stated before but this 'Turkish connection' puts a completely unexpected perspective, and dimension on proceedings..I genuinely haven't a clue. Simply that most Rich and influential people didn't get where are being 'Open and honest ' So quite simply this is a COMPLETE GAMBLE ON ALL SIDES !!

I'm very relaxed about the situation.

The Board have announced that the Tour business IS being taken back into private ownership under Fosun - who will inject £750m of cash into it , and the Airline business probably back into private control, with the shares in both being diluted to near zero.

I think that it is to their credit that they are being so crystal clear.

I don't think the board have covered themselves in any Glory over the past couple years do you. They said they would turn it around and restore shareholder value that was wrong so maybe the latest video is also wrong. An outsider may have a different view of running the company. He may well fancy taking it over lock stock and barrel. All I know is it is making you question whether to buy back some of your short You and many shorts have had a sudden dose of their own medicine. You have had it easy so far but this latest twist is causing many to panic hence the continued rally from weeks lows. It's not far away from a 100% bounce of lows. That's going to hurt if you are short

I have to say that I think that it's VERY generous that the CEO and CFO have actually gone to the trouble to make a video to clearly tell all small PI's that the shares here will become worthless in the autumn and that the Tour business IS being taken back into private control and the Airline business possibly so.

They have done everything that they can to warn small PI's and to give them that time to get out.

You can have no complaints if you continue to add to your losses.

No idea what our Turkish chap is after (possibly a seat on the new Board of the Airline business) but it will not benefit you guy's here - well - only if you sell on this brief spike.

Come on own up how much have you bashed up your potential paper profit this week. Your confidence that you would get zero pence for TCG has been given a heavy blow this week. Now you go into the weekend wondering if only I hadn't been so greedy !!

I think you were a bit of a clown to increase your short so quickly and more than once both look to have been very rash decisions. And now you are questioning whether that was a good move. Your profit does not look any where as healthy as it did three days ago !!You will be considering scaling back before the weekend that's for sure.

I don't know and neither do any of you.

My guess is he may just be a trader , or , at 4.5p he can write off losses against tax but benefit from the new capital allocation , or , as this IS being taken private he may get a seat on the Board, or he's a complete idiot and will simply be diluted out.

Most of you lot are absolutely useless , deep in losses , absolute clowns.

11 million shares in first 15 mins is huge, bigger than any trading day I have seen here and huge trades to go with it, that would be 380 million shares over the day or three times yesterday, I get the feeling the assault is on for today, bid at close or Monday? Imho dyor

What is wrong with this guy, buying a large holding, lending the cash to the company to clear half its debt, keep trading on a sustainable debt level, where it is also able to repay him. Then get rid of the clown directors, and return the share price to £1. ?

What exactly is confusing about that.

They appear to be happy paying upto 25% above the previous days close, although the so seams to peak around 40% up each of the last two days imho dyor
