yes but new shorts cannot be opened at the moment.
Believe me, this is being set up for large institutions to make a killing out of TCG's demise.
They will let the price rise via a shorting restriction and then, bang , reopen it, pile in with shorts at the inflated price and drive the share price down to zero.
Luckily I have a decent short position already in place.

54k is likely to be TT short position buy back. AQR also considering reducing to sub 0.5%. Hopefully the short tracker be updated by the weekend. if I am correct short positions currently at sub 4% as of this morning.

I always think if a business sells an asset they should buy back their distressed bonds for half price and suddenly their debt is massively reduced

a big shame , the market is corrupt. Mates helped out mates. The drop to sub 10p was never warranted and many in the process have made millions.

There are no plans for a bond for equity swap at this time. We have taken a number of proactive steps in recent months to strengthen our financial position. We have the support of our lending banks and major shareholders, and just last week we agreed a term sheet to provide additional funding over our winter cash low period.

With regards to the airline we have received multiple bids for all and part of the group airline and are currently assessing the bids received, we want to ensure we best value for our shareholders so we are taking the time to ensure we get the right result from the strategic review.
