Agree nothing is off the table. Suspect new shorts were taken out when this was above 30p and some will be getting unwound. Worth 40p plus all day long. Just buy and hold.

Tui mentioned they have no interest in any purchase of TCG airline. Maybe that's a ploy but behind the scenes both becoming one company could be a possibility?

Don’t compare a loss making company with debt out of control with Dart
They have net cash are growing at 30% pa and pay a dividend.
My advice is it’s never too late.
TUI are ex dividend today that’s why down

Vigin would be only interested in the long haul routes. TC serves alot of USA destinations. Cannot see 30p being topped today.

i had the same e mail report

The issue is and i can understand it many people are taking a big hit here and are becoming blind to facts.
TCG is in so much trouble it is selling its most profitable part.
That is IF it can sell it.
The market is swamped with aircraft from reduced orders and reducing fleets.
Norwegian and Flybe have reduced and cancelled orders.

Much of TCG fleet is old as well.

A further constraint will be whoever buys the fleet will have to
1)Agree to honor the flights already booked
2) Accept terms from TCG going forward
3)Take a risk TCG will be able to pay them

All in all not a great selling point.

The landing slots do have value.

All this suggests to me it will struggle to achieve a good price and i think only their Chinese investors may want it.

The shares currently have little value as any debt/ equity will possibly wipe them out.

What is left is an unprofitable giant.

All in my opinion

You can say the same about VOD crazy Broker Buy recs. TUI has a 1500 rec from Citi and goes ex divi Weds at over 9.5% best thing the divi is paid Friday

Makes me laugh, these broker opinions, one of the morons just downgraded Barrett Homes to 5.40 after they restated a 19% uplift on profits, which moved the shares up 2% today
