Tui a share tipped for 2019 to buy.

Can be jump on their back??

TUI
TUI is one of the world’s leading tourism businesses, with 1,600 travel agencies, 150 aircraft, over 300 hotels and 20 cruise liners.

Since merging with Thomson in 2014, management has pivoted towards a more vertically- integrated business model with control over all aspects of the customer holiday experience.

As more than 90 per cent of TUI’s fleet is leased, it can quickly rationalise it in a downturn. Between September 2016 and September 2019 it expects to open 14 new hotels annually and add three ships to the fleet.

Package holidays continue to be affected by the relentless expansion of budget airlines. While we don’t expect this to reverse any time soon, there are still good growth opportunities for TUI.

In December, it published full year results to September 2018, with annual earnings growth of over 10 per cent for the fourth consecutive year post-merger.

This strong performance in a tough environment (where Thomas Cook has issued a profit warning) demonstrates TUI’s successful transformation into an integrated holiday provider.

Despite this, shares are trading on just 9.2x 2019 expected earnings, a deep discount to its historical price earnings ratio (P/E).

Worst of £ downside is over, unless a major event, such as unexpected General Election etc. £ should be 13500+ v $US by year end imo

Stronger £ = more overseas bookings.

With FTSE shares i normally wait for chances like this to get in. You cant go wrong. Long term play when a recovery stock. Just a good update and the uptrend starts. Fingers crossed as i bought in 20grand worth. Risk vs reward is skewed now to reward side, risk is at 25p vs reward at 110. Charts are normally easy to do with FTSE shares. Brexit uncertainty will force the markets down this week, so done few shorts on currency and FTSE.

Q1 results out Feb 7th. No leak on any bad news soo far, so all looking good. Forward guidance should give the share price a boost. From sources working in TCG, start of Q2 has been better then expected and staff are working flat out. Looking good 50p plus target Feb 2019

From TCG board.
.
Its an opinion board remember. My opinions are correct and above yours, imo.. Being 84 years old, I've seen it all, done it all, know it all.

My mate woozle, who is older, believes he knows even more but really, he doesn't know, that he doesn't know!

Tcg strong buy.

Dart is yesterday's news. They are struggling to move with the times, hence having to continually use the song by Jess Glynne to draw attention. It's becoming tired, like jet2. Imo.

Hang on
I first said i had concerns when the price was 140p.
I even bought a few ( which i quickly sold ) after being persuaded that i was wrong.

Because i once held almost 3% of DART i have a strong interest in the sector.

I can see where TCG are going wrong v on the beach and Jet2

Tell me whats not fact? Everything i say i can back up.

This is a debt ridden company that has lost its market share and has a far tyoo expensive cost base.

Pointless me saying i told you so afterwards.

You DYOR and tell me where i am wrong. I like debate.

Mr Tiger as you alluded to this is a Free site .. And freedom of speech has to respected (. Even if Anglo -Saxon colourful four letter words are used ) I don't know you, I dont like the way you express your opinion ( purely as it has no basis of fact .. pure spéculation) BUT you must be prepared to put your tin helmet on and take the flak when you throw disingenuous 'grenades' into the mix...This is real money, real investors.. People have lost money and naturally sore or dare I say worried .. Playing with peoples lives with arbitrary comments is rightly or wrongly going attract fierce retribution from those negatively affected . Live with it or get off the site ..

Awful word and happy to be filtered.

I cannot belive people become so blind about a company that they cannot see whats going on?

I wonder how you value a company like TCG?

Tell will tell who is right and TBH it does not matter as i am not short or long.

If you are so certain this is a one way winner then discuss the points.

Not sure where anger comes into it.

Have a good weekend
