He will not take it private. He has no backing to do that and if he tries and fails he is out the door. Position becomes completely untenable if he attempts a failed MBO.

If I were you (and I told you this yesterday at 70p) I would sell and buy back at 60p. This is going to 60p before it goes to a £1 - can we at least agree on that?

No ii's or fund managers are going near this. It is all risk off and batten down the hatches. No one is sticking money into a beauty retailer which pays no dividend, loses cash and is about to enter a recession. Unless I am missing something Toansy I just can't see any green shoots in the next 6-12 months. But do correct me if I am wrong.

The only good thing about THG is they're next to each other on the keyboard!

The business is 'Dead' if that truly incompetent chav takes it private Paddy!

...Ohh and I doubt Moulding will be too willing with management change as it is his 'Baby' you know and he won't let go of it without a fight Simmons!

Your funny.

I was just reading about Sir Chalres Allen, a real rags to riches tale Paddy from having no real formal education which I recall from someone as the working environment at Sainsburys head office, you know where retail market traders such as GreenGrocers become managers overnight...

So does that provide for a company's longevity buddy!

It must be FUD yet the share price just cant help with its unrelenting drip drip dripping hey!

...Yes we can surely tell Bwana4, those 40 years of investing have taught one extremely well to invest in such a hideously run company called THG, hehe!

A very good post Cupra kid.
Yes indeed an investment should be for over a longer period.
Like Warren Buffet the Sage says it should be for a minimum of 7 years.

I have watched some of the investors here !! The share price falls by 2P and they start to bleat !! That is not an investment ! I have experience of 40+ years of dealing in the market and have in the long run made very good profits.
I too at times make mistakes but I am more often on the right side.
ATB.

I doubt many have a longer-term timescale here with their niggling health problems but at least their children or even their children will bear the fruits of their labour...Well one would hope anyway!

...A great investing thesis though, hehe!

Timeframe is the key word there bwana. Some investors expect to buy at the bottom and be immediately in profit but quite simply that doesn't happen very often. Whatever price you bought at, you paid that price for a reason and obviously saw value. If things haven't changed too much with tye company then keep calm and watch your investment grow over a longer timescale oppose to these quick traders in and out.

Watch how that dead behind the eyes Powell and that hopeless US administration provide evenmore pain to 'Growth' and the wider economy!

...And if the pretentious chav Moulding can't even navigate through the good times with any 'Purpose', imagine how he'll fare in the months ahead but you ain't seen nothing yet folks with how low this really can go!

You know when investor sentiment starts to crumble, its a very long road back to Tipperary Paddy!

...But truly brilliant buddy stating that you believe reiterating guidance albeit in April for the rest of the year will in anyway be relevant now...You're a blatantly incompetent chav but do keep buying in this utter tripe and lets see how deep Paddy's pockets really are, hehe!

I have travelled extensively in their country where I visited the Deli Lama for a rather fine Yak salami. Gert tasty it was too. Had some uproarious times on the lash in lasha on my way to Lhasa.

But that's just me with my undisputed panache with languages. Some of you may not believe me but it's all true.

Well said mtoto.

My brother is the Metropolitan Police Commissioner and I have reported all the Ram Gaguratis to him and he has his finest men on the case now. Expect national news of their arrest soon.

Otherwise my religion is humanity and peace and love for all. Except those Ram Gaguratis of course.

I don't think it will get to 50P but you never know !! I will just buy more !! I have done a few top ups as the share fell. It just depend what the time frame you have in your mind for your investment here.
You know the financials so I leave you to decide .
I don't use a stop lose on a volatile share as this.

This was not last year. This was trading update quarter 1.

So let’s see September. Sure you should be over the moon you should have made tens of millions but you didn’t lol.

You said 95 fair value. Then it was 80 and now it’s going lower. You didn’t expect it this low. Sentiment is bad and you only have to look at the targeted fud here to realise this is one you should be buying. We all know the score Simmons :) good luck to you.

Toasny - you are re-writing history now. There were many longs who said SB will exercise. I remember laying a million to 1 on it as it was so incredulous.

Can you explain the share price action? genuine question - Is it SB selling down their holding? who knows.

Re September -c'mon even you know they are going to stink the entire gaff out with this TU. I don't care when they reported last year. The shares were not down 95% last year. They are now and they need to come out and communicate. You should be wanting them to communicate - they should be managing the share price and this is not the way to do it. Why couldnt they give headline figures yesterday with that RNS - a simple reassurance that we are still on track as per our guidance in April?
