The half year set of results will be reported on sept 15th in line with last year. There has been a separation recently completed so a lot of work to do to prepare for that. On around the 18th April quarter 1 reported and guidance was reiterated for the rest of the year. So unless something happened in 9 weeks since 18th sept I’d suggest you take Simmons assumptions with a pinch of salt. Everybody and their granny knew that SoftBank deal wouldn’t happen at a 5b val just for ingenuity. That was common sense and means nothing.

I see it’s non stop FUD spreading which I take great heart in. It’s not a coincidence that Simmons stomping ground is central London as is Frankels. Whilst they are not city types themselves that’s where they met their paymasters. They have a job to do and nothing anyone will say will stop them. They won’t answer questions and their motive is clear. It is not to help us.

He knows there is no rights issue going to happen but he is cleaver cunning old fox with likely a drink problem.

They have more than that in cash and assets even after fully repaying debt, 35p numpty

Genuine question - how many shares does Softbank have? They could be offloading maybe. Would explain this share price action as this is relentless.

I genuinely feel for people like Sentimentalrule - it's a bit like have already been knocked out he is now being dragged around the ring dazed and confused. I would say maybe sell now but it is almost pointless - you may as well ride it out but this is definitely going lower.

The other thing it could be is a raising on the cards? Rights? Get some cash in to shore up the balance sheet and make sure they are funded properly for the next 3/4 years?

This is not the market as the market is up - something is going on. It is almost certain now that the September TU is going to stink the place out.

don't tell me we are down on the softbank news? that was obvious as soon as the shares fell below 500p (clearly an option to buy above even that price is worthless)

Once the fund managers realise that the Softbank £1 billion will be debited to the credit of the accounts then the buying will begin. But most of them are too thick to understand how it all works and I for one will not be explaining it to them for sure. But I know. It may be complicated to some but not for me. Oh no.

I remember you correctly called this would drop to circa 62p a long while back, do you think this is probably the bottom for now?
