That's my concern mcmather. You can't help wonder if they know something. It doesn't quite make sense, which makes me nervous.

From 18 Mar 2021 (94,473,610) onwards, B’rock essentially increased their holding.

According to the RNS’s, the largest holding BR held was around 12 Aug 2021; 136,701,152 (voting rights).

As recently as 30 Sept 2021 they held 134,910,612 (voting rights).

Since then, there has been the 'Removal of the Special Share' and the TS 26 Oct 2021 (largely positive and no notable surprises).

What did they miss / what has happened that they would not previously have been aware of to prompt a 55m share disposal? It just seems odd; they could have started offloading much earlier in 2021 and when the share price was much higher.

Yes, please filter me complex you're a little obsessed. I've not been badgering anyone, my current situation means that if it bounces I do okay - if it crashes I've partially dodged a bullet. I've been overwhelmingly positive about THG and I still am long term, but doesn't mean I'm completely unconcerned on news like this.

Best to filter. dampening posters comments for the purpose of himself running. That's sad. Lets leave it this way.

So you were getting nervous, badgering others so you could sell. Dampening posters comments and making them look bad, where you had an ulterior motive.

No, you did not know about Blackrock till 5 pm today, so that was not your reason for selling.

So you are using your sipp account as a trading share account. OK gr8

I then sold 1/3 of my SIPP holding at 4.30pm because I was getting nervous about THG going down to £2 and see a good chance of Gattaca jumping 20% this week. Very soon all the money will be back in THG.

BB's have zero effect on price. Blackrock selling 55m shares kinda does.

Nope, I posted this morning that I was transferring investment accounts. I wasn't aware funds get stuck in settlement for two days when this is done as I've never been in this situation before, so basically that cash is stuck.

I still hold a fair amount of THG and I'm very very much in the red on this one. However you look at it, the news is pretty negative and will push me further into the red.

Well easy to slag off UK markets, but I suspect that THG had a different view until it went wrong a few weeks ago. I have no doubt it will be back above IPO price in no time, this is just a blip.

I'm also very under. Average around £3 in my SIPP and £2.50 in my ISA. Best not to look at the daily movements. Just come back in three months and it will be in a much happier place.

So you sold, as you are negative, yet you said you were looking for 1000p, you are a long termer.

In reality, you were dampening punters concerns so you could sell; now you are claiming 180p.

I bought for £2.50 and £3.00. I sold 70% of those holdings today at varying degrees of loss. I plan to put back in every penny of it when I feel the time is right. Not convinced it will be tomorrow.

Very likely.

What is wrong with people. The 55m selling has been managed over the last three weeks, hence the cratering of the price.

Really is the wild west our regulations. I expect better. Finance people can get away with all this, fleece retail investors but say the wrong thing on twitter and the police pay you a visit.Made me think rethink investing as a whole, im a better trader

Well Well

I am still sticking with 250p, but it's going to be a bit later, perhaps by Friday now. BR is imperfect, never claimed I was Mister Perfect.

Do you think Sofia would have been buying at above the current price if there was a new discounted book build to come. Watch this bounce back to 300p faster than a fart disappearing in the wind.

I suspect by 10.00 AM it will be done. Loads who did not buy the IPO will be getting a 65% discount bargain.

I will be buying tomorrow.

But you must be nuts buying at 300p, 350p, without understanding why it was falling.

You must have done it, so chancing. But, of course, we all do it. Look at Friday 10 minutes before it was going to close at 230p.

There was no reason to cut me down because you did not like what I was saying. Book running may be at a 5% discount, and they do get snapped quickly.

You google to get the answers, and it's OK to learn and understand. If you knew those answers, you would know about holdings disclosures too.

Complex are you nuts? BHP is one of the biggest companies on the LSE. If you're bored, look at my history and you will see I invest a lot in miners - including quite a few with dual listings including UK/AUS listings. Why you think I had to google that BHP is largely Australian or that AUS dual listings trade a different levels I don't know. It's pretty common knowledge, even if you don't invest in miners.

You are well versed in googling for info as you did on BHP last week.

Within 3 days, loads do not even bother. The onus is on the holder. Little slap on the hand if it was not done.

What are the rules in reporting change of holdings? Do they have to be made daily? Are there any funds which can be 'managed' but not reported in the same way as more direct holdings? No Blackrock changes have been reported to date, but I don't know the exact rules. Allowing the market to become aware that you're selling is Gordon Brown level stupid.
