16/6/2022 09:48 | While THG is clearly aware of the macro-economic challenges, the Company continues to perform well, and in line with its own expectations. | wolfofhounslow

16/6/2022 09:48 | The current price is accurate reflection of the risks and uncertainties with this company. It loses money every year, it is based in the worst performing economy (apart from Russia), it is in a high inflationary environment with a government that keeps on fueling inflation and a government who has spent uncontrollably and is now using the private sector and the public as a bank. | bldm
16/6/2022 09:46 | The only buyers of this stock over the last 6 months have been bear closers or punters buying for a bid. There is no bid now we know for a fact and why would anybody close a short in this with the current environment. Only a fool will stay long now. | itscominghome
16/6/2022 09:39 | All these so called ecommerce online companies are now in collapse, they have joined the 90% club as well where their fall from their highs has been circa 90%. Although I and many more who understand retail gave warnings they went unheeded. The UK is already in a recession which will only get worse as it unfolds some of these companies will start to lose money. We are also into bear market territory with markets around the world falling as interest rates rise. | debsdowner
16/6/2022 09:38 | Yeah, this is at least a 12 month hold. They might break even next year but given how the UK is doing...with increasing taxes including corporation tax which is being raised by 33%...and what looks like effectively a no-deal Brexit looming again. Plus a deal with the US won't happen anytime soon...at least negotiations won't start while Bojo is in power...and then it's a 10 negotiation situation... | bldm
16/6/2022 09:33 | One could be a cynic, was it a case of there is an offer on the table contrived so their staff could offload the recent share options at a higher price. I guess one could say let the shares fall and buy for the future. Asos, boo THG will all be good in time - 2024/2025 but recession inflation issues can not be avoided - just ride the storm | merrick1965
16/6/2022 09:33 | I'm sorry but you have to be really silly to hold this on hopes of buyout. This went down to 70p just 3 months ago. How much do you think a PE would pay for this? 300% current price? 400%? I don't believe I've ever seen this much being paid, at least not with billion valuations. For very good companies which fit well into an existing portfolio (eg US defense company buying a British defense company) you could stretch to maybe 100%...and this would be a rare occurrence which happens because the buyer valued the company when it was £5.50 and then share price drops to £4 and you have a %100 premium. So if you think about it, at current prices, PE won't pay more than £2 and MM won't accent less than £3 or so. By definition, there cannot be a deal. You can see this from the moon. | bldm
