Their time will come when they will be nowhere to be seen, witnessed it too many times. Plenty paid derampers around, it's quite easy to see what is happening, there desperation is now getting desperate. Getting ridiculous and embarrassing now!
Crux of the matter is THG IS MASSIVELY UNDERVALUED AT THIS MARKET CAP.It's basic FACT, and the rerate will be epic.

If it was at £7-8 right now, i can understand a little debate. But there is no debate to be had, full stop, it's currently rock bottom, and on the cusp of multibagging!

Anyway, let's discuss the Goldman situation and their growing position in THG. The holding announcement will come as GS are hot on compliance but as peeps should know, they only need to inform the market when they've stopped buying their position and then TR1 released for the several thresholds they've crossed. It's even more interesting in my opinion that our new Chair (Ex GS) is going to have a lot of credibility and knowledge and above all a significant amount of contacts in the industry and if he's happy to take the reins and keep a tight ship, others that believe in his metrology and work ethics, will buy not just into THG story, but buy into how the company is being managed.The likes of Simmons would have been pouring scorn over Amazon in its early days and seems to have ignored how the state of the art operation, robotic operation and upscaling potential will attract those with a longer term outlook than a two bob ADVFN troll. So bottom line, as I stated early in the week, the double bottom W formation is clear to see and it sets this up nicely for those significant gaps to be filled from the overdone fall.The city knows this, Goldman knows this and as much as people will see this as PUFF and smoke, imo the perfect storm is on us. Let’s see if they will be cash flow neutral. Let’s see. That’s based on his 10% ebitda margin. I would love to see how they improve margin by 500bps by not putting up price and in the face of increasing costs which will put at least another 300/400bps on margin.

When (not if) they downgrade on margin for next year later this year I will remind you of today toast.

It’s impossible to have a civil conversation on here and it’s impossible to debate anything rationally. Low and behold all the silent posters who come here to maybe learn something.

I will answer your question toast. I don’t know why GS are in. They could be building a position. They could be closing shorts. Don’t know. I agree it’s good news for Thg to have a holder like that.

Btw we haven’t discussed margins. Each time I’ve brought it up I get responses like London. But to clarify we can agree ingenuity is not 60% margin. If it is then that is very worrisome for the rest of the group margin which is shocking at 3%. Either way it doesn’t bode well imo. This share will languish between 90-140p. I feel for the 99% of investors who are in the red badly. You were sold a retailer which was wrongly dressed up as the next amazon in my view.

So no one is in any doubt I will reiterate. This group will not generate any cash for at least the next 5 years. Mark my words.
