Someone walked past the table yestday and saw the numbers £5.17 written on my bell..can somebody confirm pls, its on the table next to the Christmas tree.

Advent has been mentioned a number of times, such as by Betaville, Daily Mail and Sunday Times etc. Clayton, Dubilier & Rice is a new name however. Original rumour in Betaville and ST was Advent, Leonard Green and Apollo though Apollo were stated as being less likely due to being one of THG's debt-holders.

THG has fallen further than I ever thought possible. There's nothing funny about it and it is sad to think about all the money that has been lost on this pathetic company.

Sorry but whether you have "crystallised the loss" or not, you have lost money.

There is so much invaluable educational material in this thread if anyone was to take the time to read through. You will learn a great deal from all the mistakes made here. Obviously you'd have to ignore the fantasists but that is easy to do after you've seen a couple of their daft posts.

I've always considered averaging down to be a waste of time and money and seeing dozens of people on this board constantly guessing the low and buying more and more THG is disheartening. But it reinforces how true the famous phrase is; "losers average losers".

If anyone takes any financial advice from someone they don't know on a free bulletin board then they shouldn't be investing.That said there's some decent folk on here but it's becoming more like a dating site where you have to sift through a lot of sh1t to find the good.

As I have said for a weeks now - This Group does not generate any cash and is not forecast to do so. 1apache - you keep on to your shares and listen to SANKS - It will be £5.17 soon. I am not sure why it is worth £5.17 but SANKS says so, so he must be right.
