No, I get it. In a little under 20 years he went from selling CDs to building a successful company and even convincing a hell of a lot of people he has a 6 billion company. He's definitely achieved more than most of us here which is why I'm long. But mentioning him in the same breath as Elon Musk should be a prosecutable offence.

Moulding has taken something from nothing and turned it into a company that at even todays lowly valuation is worth over 2.5 billion , have you or anyone you know achieved even a fraction of that ?

Propinv comparing this to Tesla is like comparing Boris Johnson and Stephen Hawking. Where do we start - from the fact that they are in 2 industries that can't be more different to the structure of the companies to the founders. Elon has behind him a series of successful companies and is currently a pioneer in a number of fields. Matt Moulding is what exactly? Comparisons between the two can't be drawn at any level. As different as they get. Would any of us be here if the name "SoftBank" wasn't associated with THG? Quite possibly not. I'm very long this stock but let's be frank - its hyped up to the sky, the business they have is a makeup+supplements seller and a tech solution which is yet to prove itself. There is a reason SoftBank bought an option. However, this is a winner take all business and if their software works, it will be very profitable. If it works... Let's just say that I would have expected more clients sign up over the 2-year stay at home situation we've had and we haven't seen this. Matalan isn't exactly a jewel. The market seems to support my view too...sadly.

Buying in at 232 appears to have been a mistake, I'll give it a little more breathing room but if it drops much more I may pull the plug before it hits the stop-loss.

Maybe THG will come good in time but it simply isn't liked by the market and there's no fighting the market.

Tesla was shorted because it has 1000 red flags associated with it and even in the best case scenario, it has cash issues and production quality issues. Once the Germans and Japanese catch up, they can ramp production and when they make a car, it's really good. However, Tesla has Elon behind it and he is a genius. Still, I don't understand how Tesla went as high as it did. What does THG have behind it? A Manchester boy with a facelift and botoxed up face wearing leather jackets and tight shorts in his 50s, displaying signs of middle-life crisis.

Think your right on that… this is not stop profit for shorters now. If it goes up, they will open new positions, and if doesn’t, they can take lower, and there is no support. This cannot change unless private or SoftBank take option
