n/p, from limited data available the software seems to target momentum, once identified and position taken it then seeks to compound the move by adding.

This works well of course if the trend continues but as above this is not always the case.

Thanks 1pencil what I am tracking is are they reloading shorts - so pumping dumping if you track boo shorts were re loading up last two weeks and today they fell 25% I think fair to say short tracker reports 2 - 3 days after the trade so with Wednesday volumes we may see some change Fri Mon. all my logic says should be reducing shorts up to jan update

Hedge funds are difficult to track as they rarely publish stats as other institutions do, however using FCA data for presumed exit and entry points (threshold changes) we can get a ball park idea of performance.

On this basis Qube had two recent trades, Trainline.com and Pennon. Both are interesting as they had breaks in different direction, Trainline.com fell sharply where Qube continued to add, Pennon broke out strongly with Qube well underwater as it continued.

Using the exit points as above, both trades would have left Qube offside, with Pennon more so given its size and upward break.

Qube reloaded shorts on Tuesday be interesting to see if others reduced shorts at new lows on Wednesday trading - because a lot of volume buys or were they audacious and increased shorts
