Inflation dropped to 3.4%. What's the negative angle of that figure ? (As this board is pretty negative at the moment)

Forget all this nonsense Sanks of wishing or hoping on a star, start building positions in the Crypto sphere on those that have compelling commercial use cases with any further weakness and you can thank me later from your caravan in outer suburbia buddy!

Start buying BtC or alt coins that have compelling commercial use case folks but in small amounts with any continuing weakness as I am and just sit on it...And if you lose so be it but its the only thing that has any real viability for an investor presently especially with everything that's going on in the wider market, economically and politically!

...The global market system is truly fu_cked and has no get out clause anymore because its been squeezed to oblivion and we are heading for a fully integrated digitised economy in future so don't believe our dear establishment when they state its a huge risk with investing in cryptos because they are discreetly establishing their very own systems on the 'Block' unbeknownst to you yet!

...And all things covid should really have taught all of you that these fu_ckin goons of our dear establishment have only one interest and thats to control us anywhichway they can so trust nothing and continually question everything they do or tell you!

Well hello Stevie, longtime I've missed you but thanks for the compliment, I'm grateful but it's been a longtime coming my dear friend!

...And any real value resides at a very low valuation buddy which is somewhere in the range of anything upto the 30p mark before situations start to improve gradually but with that unfortunate man at the helm, its difficult to envisage anything with any real confidence as I'm sure you've already realised by now!

You are right frankel, the whole loyalty nonsense was simply that, the reason thg is losing people now is that they are trying to repair margins. going to be a painful period but there is a value, where that is i am not sure yet

How can it Paddy?...Look around you at how listed companies are being affected in the wider consumer markets and as I've told you, it was only matter of time before all the aggressive monetary policy was going to make an impact and those central w4nkers who had little foresight to what would transpire in future, it was only going to filter through to the wider market in due course but then add into the mix 'Discretionary' and you have a serious and I mean serious problem forming!

...So watch how frequent and enticing those discounts from the tripe start to become my man and then watch how the losses start to mount even further but I'm sure THG will just say thats how you build loyalty hehe!

I'm an anarchist Disco, support those that can't support themselves (no names mentioned of course!) and try to portray those to the masses for what they truly are unfortunately so when you get a little time, read through my LinkedIn posts and you'll see how many impressions they've received but I wonder if its telling hey to how buying seems to have all but dried up now in some tripe you call an investment!

...And remember this, when it concerns the livelihoods of some PI (just like myself!), I really don't play games my dear friend!

Yeah the risk isn’t massive to be honest.

I’d never be long this mate currently . I have the data it’s a shocking update. You ever wondered why the shorts never panicked into results; they had the data and even you got suckered in by moulding but the data showed decline. I can’t believe we are still seeing the levels of year over year declines in 2024. Covid ended a long time ago. No excuses left people are switching off THG brands and other companies are winning currently and nearly all are growing year over year. They could turn it around but too many woke yes men In that operation.

Frankel,

At least toast has a short.

What you really hiding there buddy?

Stinks why you post without reason.

You’re company must be short or have be stung, who would pay for you to be here for so long.

It's of far greater risk to be long, too many incredibly concerning under currents at play across the board economically and politically Paddy and THGs price action without any shadow of a doubt follows US tech so unless that long awaited RNS arrives, there's very little risk from what i can see in continuing to short this tripe and who in their right sane mind would work with the 'Donkey Kong of the North' anyway...Noone so what real risk is there here, 40/50% max my dear friend, peanuts in the grand scheme of things!

...And i assure you, noones going to offer what the THG goons are mistakenly led to believe and you should really understand that being in business so let Disco saviour in his crazy dreams before he finally wakes up...With a sore head no doubt!

I may be small short today disco but I could be 2m long tomorrow. These are big boy games at play. I know the risks here. My provider let’s me have a GSL but they are foolish as you can’t get one anywhere.

Value is subjective at this price there is risk to short because the market may think even at this price the value is there. So that’s why I am small short. If this was a quid I’d take a lot more risk.

Inflation is starting to brew again in the US Paddy which is pretty worrying for market dynamics, especially all things growth and that will shift through to global markets before too long so whilst various UK growth stocks look cheap presently, its probably wise to wait for cues in the US!

...Alot of work for nothing Disco!...Are you seriously deluded, Bilbo Baggins is being handsomely paid with company options you bloody buffoon and he has absolutely nothing to lose but are you really that wet behind the ears buddy and is mo_ther dearest still molly cuddling you, ahh nevermind hey!

Fair enough toast,

Not sure why a smart man like you would spend so much of your time on here then?

Small short, nothing more.

Just an honest question. Unless it is the banter that keeps you here lol.

Lot of quality companies in the U.K. dirt cheap trading at very low multiples and growing massively with massive net cash at hand. THG is not cheap, it is a basket case mate with no net cash. No profit. Very little adjusted ebitda. No growth , no competitive edge, a discounter with no pricing power, no interest from institutions, bad governance and a terrible CEO and with the rate of decline I am seeing in Q1 this company could do an asos. Be in no doubt here, I may be short but I am warning you here, it’s bad and the data as far as I can see is worse than Q4.

Positives are it’s vertically integrated, has some decent brands in stable. Has decent underlying margins. Isn’t going to go bust anytime soon but would you put it past moulding to do a placing to clear debt and dilute shareholders that didn’t buy into the placing. That easily could happen ! The business can’t be separated and ingenuity needs nutrition to survive. This could be a 5 year thing to get stable again, refinance debt at lower rates.

Half a loaf is better than no loaf. This share is never a long term hold. If you get a go private deal happy days.

Oil is a worry, so much conflict with multiple wars.

Bob will top slice around 80p, a lot of work for nothing.

Posting doesn’t represent the business, however you could say that about anyone’s view.

Well done on ya money toast, more than I have banked by just holding.

Unfortunately nobody was interested. Feedback I got back was the prize of 1000 shares was too little.

Come on now disco. Bob is the biggest ramper ever. Have you ever once seen Bob say anything remotely negative. Very suspicious no. I love him but he lost the plot in the end and couldn’t face reality. I think 57 is the bottom in until results but I’m going to stick my short out because it’s only small anyway. I closed my asos short out for a nice profit but have missed out so far on 40 points! Got to be more brave.

Inflation tomorrow. Suspect headline number be ok so might get a pump but I am worried about inflation and it makes me nervous in my other long bets. Not liking this oil price rocketing.
