You do realise UK government & regulatory bodies stats are lagging data Srs8 and certainly not indicative of here and now but I honestly understand why you people have built yourselves rather deep holes with all your redundant investing because there is no real depth to any bloody understanding whatsoever here!

Toast, look at the q1 trend on all of the 5 Uk companies I shared (all down month on month) but then compare to Uk health and beauty statistics from ons and BRC
That’s my query, but related to blind love of thg, which I don’t have

But as I have always been consistent on I am more interested in ebitda and ebitda % in the short term and seeing it go from 3% to 6% (7% in h2 23) then on to hopefully 7-8% in 2024. Sales can easily be bought once margins have recovered has always been my view

Srs wrongly stated that the data must be inpaired because no way beauty is down across the board in the U.K.

As I showed in worldwide view, that is not the case. Sephora and nk are up and when I checked U.K. view also they were both up and Sephora was absolutely flying up 50 percent year on year so it pours cold water on that argument. The problem for SRS is he takes the RNS to be the baseline truth, that’s an issue.

Thanks for sharing Sephora.com and space nk, they are doing well

I was comparing LF Uk, CB Uk, Sephora Uk, boots Uk, space mk uk - all show drops in q1 but Uk retail data shows beauty up

Reason I use only Uk is it’s more than 50% of thg beauty sales and we know they aren’t pushing in other markets now

All said, I don’t expect to see big q1 sales increases for thg. Ingenuity commerce will be up a fair amount (likely 10-15% ) but it’s on the back side do FA revenue

Beauty and nutrition honestly have no idea as not I just question the above on the reliability of SW data

Not Uk though is it, my point was clearly specific on the UK. Anyway not going to argue as each to own . Good luck on jet 2 and JS, but is there the need for the constant bashing here? Honestly I know you are better than the like of frankel and the nutter thg Rampers. Also I agree at most thg is worth around 100 (ebitda multiplier)
