Even if retail In general had a poor December, why does this translate to THG losing 12% in a day and now another 4% today? There is no correlation? For all we know THG has had a stonker and bucked the so called poor December trend? Also we are forward looking now that rates will start dropping. Surely the F1 advertising, new products better marketing etc etc all speak growth? My theory is it was a short attack by grumpy and spiteful hedge funds with that RNS as an excuse. Nothing to do with "presumed" December retail sales.

It’s following the same trajectory as previous bad news.

Gets hammered in the weeks leading up to results or even bid news. Goes down heavy and any daily rises are very small and limited.

It’s text book THG. Wonder if Clown Matt will dream up another bid scenario to deflect his dire performance at the helm. Just go Matt FFS. You have had your time. You’re like a bad actor now stinking the gaff out. Share price would jump 50% if you left which says it all about your ability to lead.
