Its not going to happen Sensei, reporters have either misinterpreted or been misguided by the interview...MM requires capital markets for THGs sustainable growth which is not possible with private equity unless they have the rather deep pockets of the Middle East to contend with...

You know the ones from 'Camels to Cadillacs' that have no real value for money!

What has no real substance is the news media reporting that MM is hinting at taking THG private.

THG doing us proud on the chart.

Interesting comment below too:

"Goldman has IPO flow so can pay for hordes of experienced specialist sub sector analysts. USD 5 million for top Tech analyst. Peel Hunt guy is accountant who was a data assistant 2 years ago....
NY and HK only serious tech markets"

@dev
It certainly is, ftse 100 only 500 points above where it was Dec 1999, S&P has 3xd in that time, parabolic inflation, insane taxes, sterling down against every major currency 11 years running and the brexit fiasco to roll on for the next ten years. UK heading back to 1970’s, fuel queues and its even kicking off in N. Ireland again. Back to the future OMFG. What a sxxthole, what a toilet. Stick to US stocks plus USD protection and quality growth. UK is terminal.

Sometimes genuine wit needs explaining but in most cases where things need explaining it is merely the absence of wit but keep at it
