yup 10m EBITDA which is basically cash profits pre interest (which is positive on its cash balance) and depreciation of shop fittings

the stock is on ~1x EV/EBITDA

retailers generally trade 5-10x EV/EBITDA

Card factory is on 4x

Works has work to do on the margin but there should be a huge freight tailwind to come vs recent periods. ~60pc of stock is non-books and therefore shipped from China

the new broker today is great news. the note is available on research tree and demonstrates that if they make the management's aspiration to recover to pre covid margins, that's £20-£25m of EBITDA, equivalent to £13-£18m profit before tax and....trade on 5x EV/EBITDA...thats 197p per share

but if that ebitda was achieved, I imagine they would be back doing a meaningful rollout and would trade on 7-8x

patience is a virtue. Well done to all holders for sticking with their beliefs when the market was not convinced and kept pulling it back down. Now its a case of running your winner and holding on.

What's the eps ? Surely they should just increase the divs and start using the cash pile !They have been as high as 180 p per share from memory with a lot of debt too !This market is so fickle ! London market is really !Why so many companies are delisting and quitting !
