THISTLE MINING INC.   ("The Company")

ADMISSION OF SHARES

Loan notes in Thistle Mining Inc. worth US $275,000 were converted to 1,481,700
new Common Shares of nil par value on 22 September 2003.

Warrants to subscribe for 2,000,000 new Common Shares at an exercise price of
Cdn $0.20 per share in Thistle Mining Inc. were exercised on 15 September 2003
and 250,000 new Common Shares at an exercise price of  Cdn $0.25 per share in
Thistle Mining Inc. were exercised on 22 September 2003.

An application for the 3,731,700 new Common Shares to be admitted to trading on
the Alternative Investment Market has been made with the London Stock Exchange.
Dealings in these shares are expected to commence on Friday 14 February 2003.

The shares will rank pari passu with existing shares in issue.
