My view is that Tethys have decided to see Olisol in Court rather than respond to these baseless allegations !.
Why bother replying to a guilty party who has no interest whatsoever in the future of Tethys !.
Let us wait to see if Tethys responds as you would hope they would !.

Not obliged to supply minimum is not the same as "it's not exclusive"

You have to agree that if it wasn't for Olisol we wouldn't have found out:

1. That the gas contract had been cancelled
2. That TPL was embroiled in a court case with EGG
3. That TPL was embroiled in a police matter
4. That TPL had started legal proceedings against Olisol
5. That Salshanov has some involvement with TPL
6. That TPL started selling its oil to Prax

While all of these were wrapped in lies and misrepresentation there ALWAYS was a core of truth in each of Olisol's press releases and interviews with Kaz newspapers which have sustained our little group here with enough information to afford us to obtain some idea of what is going on.

Without these (malicious) interventions by Olisol we would have known: zilch.

Just check the last few official RNS releases that were not a reaction to Olisol -- they contain very little information.

I would add " A major crooked shareholder who tried to rob Tethys of its assets .. "
While I have yet to see the EGG contract, I have read an earlier press release issued by Tethys which states that " Tethys is not obliged to supply even minimum quantities of oil to EGG ".
I find it impossible to accept any " factual information " offered by a devious
shareholder who, using illegal methods, has and, is currently trying to destabilise the company.

As I mentioned earlier, the reason for the " tight lip still " should at present be attributed to the following :

- It is most likely that Tethys is carrying out an independent review of its
available reserves in order to achieve a plan to optimise its extraction from
existing proven wells. Hopefully this will enable it to provide a clearer picture
to its existing and potential lenders, its partners and interested third parties.
- The negotiations between Tethys and third parties are continuing and have yet to
be fully resolved relating to the short term loan issues and also the future
marketing arrangements.

My response to the current lack of liquidity in the market is simply that the
investors (other than PAM, Olisol and the Kumars) are watching and waiting with
bated breath for any major news items to appear that could impact the share price either
way. When that happens, this BB, Stockhouse, iii, et all will not only explode, but some of the contributors, watchers, etc will show their hand with large volumes
relative to the present !.
I do care about TPL and its current share price inactivity, but I care more about its health and future progress !.
Perhaps, we should try to get hold of an up to date reliable list of shareholders.
I have yet to find one !.

I will never trust investors who do not care about the share price and health of the stock they supposedly hold. This stock is illiquid and it's been in the doldrums for 2-plus years.

Guess "who" was running Tethys ?. Who else but the "master Dr" who is no more !.
I will leave you to speculate on the secretive deals then !.

Old Dr Robo, Yes. I posted that due to the irony of "The not knowing much about Tethys" nothing sinister, just amusing that its all very tight lipped still. And obviously my concern about those assets that cost a shed load of money to find, and Tethys have not yet had the chance, ability or the funds to capitalise on. And could possibly be losing some of that due to inactivity.

Hguess, a major shareholder of Tethys has made public allegations.

We don't know whether the oil contract is not exclusive. Have you seen the contract? No. So don't assume. Olisol publicly stated it is exclusive to EGG until end of 2018.

I really don't know why you are so ultra defensive and desire to shut down questions.

I believe Olisol wasn't truthful but i do believe there is some truth to their news update.

Either way, the "market" is not in a position to know what is true unless TPL makes a public statement.

Patience !!.
Six weeks may be a long time for some stocks, but perhaps TPL may not be suitable for
a quick turn round based on the experience it has had during the last two years.
My guess is that perhaps in another 6 weeks, your patience may be rewarded !.

As regards the Olisol allegations, I think you might agree that Olisol is not in any way an innocent party asking for justice !.
As I said earlier, the EGG contract is not exclusive !.
The allegation by Oliosl of illegality re the issue of shares to the Kumars' is
inaccurtae !.
Why should Tethys respond to allegations which are inaccurate ?.
Let the Court decide !.

I sent an email to Pete last Thursday asking if they were going to respond to the Olisol allegations. No response. Chased again this morning. No response.

In the next 10 days they need to release the annual results so perhaps they are holding out to bundle it in with it.

As far as i am concerned the Olisol allegations are serious enough to warrant an official response because if true it would have a material impact on the company.

I will call him if i don't get a reply tomorrow.

But ultimately Tethys will be down percentage wise on the PSC. Obviously this being the only detail we kind of know so far.

They could then ask the existing partners to do the job for them !.

You have had the patience to wait for 1 - 2 years, I too have been in the same boat, but I have decided that the new team at Tethys are currently trying to put some life back into the business following the hype and turbulence that has been created by previous by "oil experts" who were only intent on rewarding themselves with no regard for PI's.
The new team effectively assumed control of management of the Tethys operations in
Nov 2016 and are in the process of reconstructing the business with the establishment of new customers who are replacing Olisol ( who were intent on sucking the life out of Tethys). The new team is also looking at methods of optimising oil production at lower operating costs.
The proved reserves in KAZ amount to 13.1mbo gross, which amount to of $150m NPV. The task is to extract this efficiently at minimum cost.
While I understand your frustration at the failure of the share price to respond to the initial actions by the new team in neutralising Olisol, I think that the next steps require a greater deal of confidentilaity to ensure that final agreements can be concluded with certainty and success. Need I say more about the " elephant " in the room who is trying hard to destablise Tethys !.
I take the view that if I am forced to sell some shares to meet immediate cash flow
issues, then so be it,
I have therefore decided not to be concerned by the apparent " shenanigans " if any, that occur in the meantime re the share price
Tethys is now a potentially " high risk, high return " investment !.
I am hoping that the new team succeeds in its aim to resuscitate Tethys and therefore I am giving the new team until end April to come up with a credible press release on their work to date.
So TI, may I suggest " calm and patience " for now !.

I wonder who is going to be taking up the 25% of Bokhtar PSC when taken back by the TAJ gov. If that happens of course.
