30/1/2017 22:10 | Agreed 1399Peter, hopefully all these professionals joining Tethys can at least do something better than shuffle paper. | temporarily insane
30/1/2017 21:57 | TI I couldn't agree more with what you are saying, I am still not that confident with Tethy's ever getting anything done quickly or without incident. If we get to see some evidence of their joined up thinking this week, It might help to change my mind. | 1399peter
30/1/2017 21:56 | 1399Peter, TI, I agree !. Now that both resolutions are through, Tethys has got to get its cash and business plan sorted and I hope it solves the short term loans repayment and the drilling and sales of gas and oil products !. Mind you it takes quite a bit of negotiating with the Kumars and local KAZ banks to come up with corporate guarantees and or asset cover to provide a credible plan to fund its operations going forward !. | hguess16
30/1/2017 21:49 | Tethys must know what they are doing otherwise why get the staff to give the machinery a bit of a service and polish. | temporarily insane
30/1/2017 21:46 | 1399Peter, they have had enough time to get this plan of action together, inclusive of sorting out the finances otherwise what else have they been doing over the past 6/12 months. | temporarily insane
30/1/2017 21:18 | No Worries TI, We just need a decent follow up, plan of action and a shed load of money. | 1399peter
30/1/2017 21:03 | Ooops, lol. Changed it now. | temporarily insane
30/1/2017 20:56 | Quiet as well. | neilyb675
30/1/2017 20:50 | You are good hguess16. I wonder how the Norwegian person feels about all this. He seems rather quiet? | temporarily insane
30/1/2017 20:47 | 250K buy at full ask.... | neilyb675
30/1/2017 20:01 | Votes cast at SGM !. Following my previous note on votes cast, I guess that the Kumars may have abstained and if they did, PAM may have cast their 64m votes and others accounted for the balance 50m votes in favour making a total of 114m votes in favour !. | hguess16
30/1/2017 19:44 | 1399Peter, Well noted !. It is interesting that only 189m votes were cast for both Resolutions out of a possible 500m were cast. Seems like I assume Olisol cast 63m votes against the Res's. Others cast 11.9m votes against the Res's making a total of 74.9m votes against At least this vote in favour of the resolutions are better than the Brexit votes to exit the EU !!. | hguess16
30/1/2017 19:31 | Thank you 1399Peter for putting the RNS up. | temporarily insane
30/1/2017 19:22 | I will take a wild guess and say that Olisol were not happy about it. And kind of explains the press release over the weekend. What next I wonder. | 1399peter
30/1/2017 19:05 | Good to see there was some resistance. Now: TPL you were given all you asked for. It's time to put your cards on the table and tell us what it was all for! | casual47
30/1/2017 18:33 | Tethys Petroleum Press Release: Results of Extraordinary General Meeting GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS--(Marketwire Extraordinary General Meeting All resolutions put to shareholders at the EGM were passed on a poll at the meeting. Details of the voting on a poll on those resolutions voted on at the EGM, including votes represented by proxies, are as follows: Resolution For Against 1. The Warrant Exercise Resolution 114,043,831 (60.36%) 74,880,448 (39.64%) 2. The Debt Conversion Resolution 113,663,831 (60.28%) 74,880,448 (39.72%) In accordance with applicable Toronto Stock Exchange and Canadian Multilateral Instrument 61-101 rules the votes in respect of the Warrant Exercise Resolution exclude any votes attaching to ordinary shares beneficially owned by Jin Guang Ltd., the nominee company of Medgat Kumar and Prax Pte Ltd., the nominee company of Winston Sanjeev Kumar Soosaipillai. Shares owned by Jin Guang Ltd. and Prax Pte Ltd. each account for 8.6% of the ordinary shares issued by the Company. If all 192,300,000 warrants are exercised and assuming the Annuity and Life Reassurance Ltd. ("ALR") loans are converted at maturity into 186,316,064 ordinary shares then Jin Guang Ltd. and Prax Pte Ltd. would each own approximately 15.8% of the enlarged number of ordinary shares. Similarly, the votes in respect of the Debt Conversion Resolution exclude any votes attaching to ordinary shares beneficially owned or controlled by Pope Asset Management LLC, Annuity and Life Reassurance Ltd. ("ALR") or their affiliates. Together these shares account for 17.3% of the ordinary shares issued by the Company. If the ALR loans are converted at maturity and assuming conversion of the warrants owned by Jin Guang Ltd. and Prax Pte Ltd. the percentage of the enlarged number of ordinary shares owned by Pope Asset Management LLC, ALR and their affiliates would be approximately 30.9%. About Tethys Tethys is focused on oil and gas exploration and production activities in Central Asia and the Caspian Region. This highly prolific oil and gas area is rapidly developing and Tethys believes that significant potential exists in both exploration and in discovered deposits. | 1399peter
30/1/2017 16:54 | Thank you hguess16. Appreciated. I think we are just all frustrated due to the past continual hold ups and delays decimating our wealth. This board needs to continue building trust. They have started off strong. | temporarily insane
30/1/2017 16:24 | I really can't imagine how the resolutions could not have been approved. They have awarded themselves plenty of shares to make it happen.... So what's the hold up? | casual47
30/1/2017 16:20 | TI, No panic !. I have just spoken to Tethys !. Tethys are finalising the press release and it should be available before close of business today or tomorrow morning latest !. | hguess16
30/1/2017 15:40 | benandemmiboo, I personally dont want the company sold as this pittance of a price. I agree, just publish the EGM results. Even Tethys management cant mess that up, can they? | temporarily insane
30/1/2017 15:25 | Is no news ever good news for Tethys.....? FFS....Just publish the Egm results already | casual47
30/1/2017 15:16 | Really hoping the Kumars have the ability to buy the company outright -- even if only at 3 or 4 cents per share -- if the EGM failed to pass. | benandemmiboo |
