You live in a chavvy area Logan? Stores are all fine near me.
Aldi next door to a Waitrose is an interesting mix.

Processed foods also have a huge amount of salt in them and taste way too salty for me, especially the meals for 1 or 2 people.

For a healthier life avoid anything processed as far as possible.

It also didn't really look like crab meat or smell like crab meat either.

I tried substitute crab a couple of times, tasted more like plastic and didn't have the texture of crab meat either.

Logan,
Substitutes for fish....

Top 10 vegan alternatives to fish!

Substitutes for shrimp
Surimi, sold as imitation crab and sometimes shaped to look like chunks of lobster or even whole shrimp, can be a great substitute for shellfish in a number of recipes, but be aware that, if choosing it for reasons of allergy, many brands actually contain some crabmeat.

"Never heard of Surimi"

Dont post here just use it to check the price and look at the chart however..
If Tesco develop a large veggie option those that want it will flock to the store. I notice Aldi started some veggie frozen food that looked good, I even picked up some once, all about the customer demands and making a profit. I imaging there is more profit on chilled veggie food than meat as meat is more expensive.
Regards the muppet loganair I notice someone replying to him I have him on filter save time do the same. Regards ordering online some shortages last week but other brand available, ie no large packs tesco toilet roll but Andrex plenty, this week no shortages.

Logan

Don't forget all the Soy in many of these non meat products. Soy feminises men.
Evidence abounds of such everywhere.

"Among 11 new plant-based foods going on sale at Tesco this week are centrepiece dishes using the wheat protein favourite seitan as a meat substitute, including a beef-free joint and hunter’s chicken-free traybake. Turkey-free crowns and vegan mince pies are launching in time for Christmas"

Seitan?

Beef free joint - No thanks
Chicken free traybake - No thanks
Turkey free crowns - No thanks
Vegan mince pies - No thanks

Quorn - No thanks.

Seitan.
Depending on how it’s made, it can be high in sodium, so just check the label, especially on pre-packaged nuggets, crumbles, strips, ‘ribs’, and ‘patties,̵7;” says Moon. It’s generally highly-processed, so Michalcyzk says it shouldn’t be eaten every day.

Highly processed foods - No thanks
Processed foods - No thanks bar the odd sausages on a Full English.

One of my customers the wife a a TV presenter was strictly vegetarian, I recall saying to him "You need a good sirloin steak." He said "If only."

Much later, a few years on he'd died of some degenerative disorder and I was looking after his wife's car, I asked if she was still off the meat, she said she had to give it up when their only daughter was not developing for lack of protein in her diet.

loganair. Knowing about your historic slightly slanted view of Tesco (always emphasising negative information or news), I thought I'd research product availability myself last night in preparation for our weekly online order.

There was no problem with availability of value 24 pack toilet rolls or flour of various sizes and brands - save for a maximum order size of 3. So not sure where BerkshireLive were looking......

All too often, especially Vegans, take their Veganism more like a religious devotion rather then something they just wish to do.
