Good article in the Investors Chronicle.

The writer talked much about the Aldi and Lidl effect and the possible Amazon entry.

He then went on to say his family had switched from Sainsbury home delivery to Tesco
as he and his family felt they had improved their act.

I am afraid Mr Coupe at Sainsbury might be a bit of a Phil Clarke/

You can't buy anything anywhere that doesn't contain artificial sweetners, even the flavoured water. Only Schweppes 1783 and fevertree in the tonics.

That's strange yf23, in our local Lidl you cannot buy any of the usual soft drinks, lemonade, orangeade, Pepsi, Coca Cola, etc. that contain sugar, they're ALL sugar free.

Not sure about the other stuff you mention as they're never on my, or my friends shopping list, she buys Hawaiian pizza for her son at Lidl but buys with it a can of pineapple slices because there's so little of it on the pizza.
