20/9/2018 07:21 | The frequency of the comms and disparity between info in the market and lag in release but primarily the former to shareholders. Expect scripted answers to be dry but colour to be added to the free flow responses. I can't make the call but expecting to hear the words 'consistent' , 'substantial' shareholder returns ! | actybod

20/9/2018 06:49 | I believe that "ChannelE2E" may be based in USA. The partnership with TeamViewer appears to have raised the global profile of Device Authority? 19/9/2018 23:44 | Milesy, thanks for that. It's been explained by AS, and funnily enough I mentioned the nature of Tern's business model and subsequent lack of reporting investee news when talking about the conference call (edit for clarity: talking to my wife), but some here like to use it for their agenda. | cmackay
19/9/2018 22:30 | As has been stated millions of times, since Keyscaler is meant to be agnostic it can be promoted by any proper company much like Cocoa Cola is promoting these newsagents: | loughton
19/9/2018 22:24 | milesy19 Sep '18 - 21:37 - 121258 of 121259 0 2 0 Seems there's much anxiety here lately about Tern, an AIM-quoted PLC with holdings in a number of unlisted UK technology companies, not disclosing revenues for each of its investee businesses. The reality it that this is quite normal in such circumstances, as evidenced at another not dissimilar AIM company, Judges Scientfic, on whose homepage at it states: "Judges Scientific plc is an AIM-quoted group specialising in the acquisition and development of a portfolio of scientific instrument businesses. Corporate expansion is being pursued, both through organic growth within its subsidiary companies and through the acquisition of top-quality businesses with established reputations in world-wide markets." Like Tern, Judges Scientific, have this week announced their interim results, but without any mention of specific revenue figures for their investee companies: They also RNS only as required by the market, mostly directors dealings, an occassional acquisition or other similar notifiable events. There's certainly little by way of marketing puff on show. Similarly, at the opposite end of the scale are to be found numerous UK Investment Trusts with a %age of their holdings again in UK unlisted companies. According to this Dec 17 Telegraph article, one of the largest, Scottish Mortgage, had 14% of its £6.5 billion funds invested in unlisted companies (not all UK however): The point here is that, as with Tern, most if not all of these trusts (which are not dissimilar to Tern in their investment objectives) do not generally disclose individual revenue figures for any of their holdings. On a separate note, I see "deal denial" is still very much in vogue by the tripe spouting brigade. I mean, you really gotta ask yourself what an industry giant like AMD could possibly gain from calling out in a marketing video for a brand new processor line the name of a small UK private company with unique and patented IP whose name they can only just spell: Maybe I can get AMD to give my wonderful local newsagents a plug if they're so generous with their plaudits and supportive of UK SMEs. Why, is your newsagent a member of the EdgeX foundry? Device Authority and AMD are both founding members, it would be strange if they didn’t work together. Ps, If you think that is AMD’s marketing video for their processor then you are deluded, they would use more than just a camcorder or phone to record their promo video. | stead41
19/9/2018 22:01 | Love the desperate comedy on the clown thread. Reality is as told years ago, DA and therefore Terd are utterly worthless. IT 'partnerships' are ten a penny. What matters is revenue which DA has none of. That's why it needs continual funding to keep the lights on and why placees sell out asap and no-one funded via USCP. Nothing but a worthless dog. But will the idiots listen? Bless. | loughton
