Hi epo001,

Yes I think a lot of them hold in hope, rather than for any other rational reason.

This is dangerous because the 'insiders' will be selling as carefully as they can, without crashing the price.

The result is a slow decline in the shareprice, the last thing large sellers want is panic, otherwise they are stuck with the stock and have failed to monetise their gains.

Eventually, there is the light bulb moment, and everyone starts selling. Usually a catalyst starts this off.

Possible catalysts are -

Bucket shop financing RNS
Interims show the true NAV
TR1 for large holder/director selling

etc etc

I am here reading too, and very grateful to all the shared research / information.
I recall forecasts being based on low market share , eg. 1%, so agree that with all that is going on these will end up being revised upwards (if we are not taken out beforehand)

The whole market is down today so the price drop doesn't mean much but the rampers are getting hysterical. They are afraid of people breaking ranks and triggering a disorderly collapse.

Always "jam tomorrow" but never any *evidence* why this is the case. Note the use of innuendo "looks like", "it feels like" because people worrying about a declining share price will cling to any straw, however nebulous.

A good test for holders, without reference to advfn boards but using original research, write down your own investment case for Tern. Convince yourself it is sensible to be a holder, if you can do so then be happy, if you can't do so then be worried. DYOR is an investing principle not a ramper's disclaimer.

Also looks like they are now starting to ramp the next penny share, BLU.

some philosophy from Gemalto
June 29

In a cybersecurity environment that is experiencing a lot of fluctuation and transformation, with new threat actors and things like IoT and big data expanding the threat landscape. Is there any part of the Gemalto portfolio you’d like to see more investment? Or an underutilized tool that could help organisations keep up?
I think it’s been pretty difficult for an organisation to understand what they need to do and how they need to do it. The issue is that every organisation currently has a skills gap and if you look at the worldwide trends, there are so many required security professionals that just aren’t available. They just don’t have the skills to implement some of the security measures that they want.

To address this, our strategy at Gemalto is looking at simplification. We want to take away the need for what I call ‘Crypto-ninjas’, either through making products simpler to use or by putting those tools and services in the hands of a smart channel ecosystem who can then fulfil that skills gap. This channel ecosystem needs to be cloud-aware and have the knowledge to fulfil the needs of customers where they lack that injection of skills.

On the simplification piece, we tend to try and approach things with like an app-store, point click approach, rather than forcing customers to go through an arduous process of setting up, configuring, installing and managing solutions, which can be a strain on resources. We want every security application that you're likely to use at the core of compliance - such as data encryption and key management - to be simple to deploy. We’ve taken that point click approach so that if you can go to a marketplace, subscribe to things like encryption-key management and get that up and running within 5 minutes.

Yes, i read your posts and share price chart.

Could you give me a little more insight in to your comment about the need to go down to cover the gap please ?. I have heard this terminology before, but an explanation of why would be helpful.

Thanks

This TERN thread is more of a contribution arena.I am sure we all read and absorb the content of each and every post(with obvious,in my case filtered, exceptions).
If we were to create a dialogue, possibly some focus could be lost.

I was asked over the weekend what I would do if the TERN share price returned to 55 pence.
My answer........Wait for much much,much more !

No sizeable stock volumes so EXPECT a volatile share price.

Another morning of very small traded volumes.

With imminent official news flow are you IN or OUT?
