24/6/2018 07:16 | ThingWorx is a specifically developed industrial innovation platform for reducing the time, costs and risks associated with creating industrial IoT solutions for today's connected world. PTC shows trade fair visitors how ThingWorx uses data from the sensors on the physical pump to create a real-time Augmented Reality experience. Device Authority provides innovative solutions that simplify the identification of IoT devices and the protection and encryption of data from these devices. The team demonstrates how the KeyScaler platform creates a secure connection between the clouds of TeamViewer and ThingWorx. This authenticates and authorizes the device and encrypts the data in transit after which it is safely stored in ThingWorx. TeamViewer is a leading global provider of IoT, connectivity, monitoring, support and collaboration software. The remote access solution is integrated into ThingWorx. Using the pump, TeamViewer demonstrates how data is collected and analyzed real-time in the ThingWorx dashboard for monitoring system behavior. TeamViewer's Live Remote Control function is used to troubleshoot and manage the device remotely via google translate source (in dutch) | andrbea

24/6/2018 06:12 | Some industries have been faster than others to adopt the internet of things The Internet of Things stands to bring the power of digital technology into a range of fields. While every field will likely see some impact from the IoT, some stand to benefit by being early adopters. Here are a few of the industries that are adopting the IoT early on. Transportation Google Navigation and similar apps are already taking advantage of IoT principles by detecting slow traffic through users’ devices. The transportation industry can use the IoT to determine which routes are most effective. It’s possible to track vehicle performance as well, ensuring that problems are detected early on. Success in the transportation industry is about eking out small advantages over competitors, and the IoT can deliver an edge. Retail Much like the transportation industry, the retail industry lives on the edge of profitability. Ensuring a store’s layout is ideal is crucial for making the sales needed to make a profit, and data is crucial for making the right decisions. Another advantage of the IoT is its ability to track results quickly. Stores can try an array of strategies to find those that work, and they won’t need to wait for weeks or months to gather valuable data. Energy One of the earliest adopters of the IoT concept is the electrical industry. Reading meters is a significant expense, but smart meters provide faster responses and instant access to information. They also reduce the possibility of tampering, and they can provide more accuracy that analog meters used in the past. Smart sensors along the power grip can provide a detailed overview of the system as a whole, letting electrical companies send only the power that is needed to avoid waste. Which industries are IoT's early adopters? TechNative Agriculture It may seem surprising that agriculture, a field that’s as far from high-tech as any, is a leading adopter of the IoT. However, the sheer size of modern farms means that sensors are invaluable tools. Furthermore, farms with a sufficient volume of sensors are easier to automate, ensuring more efficient use of water and power and reducing the amount of labor needed. Modern IoT agriculture systems are sophisticated; measuring nitrogen levels in soil, for example, lets automatic tillers lay down fertilizer precisely where it’s needed, which leads to better crop yields while further reduce labor requirements. Healthcare The healthcare field covers a broad range of activities and interactions, and the IoT can help most of them. Hospitals can use real-time IoT data to make the most of their limited resources and to provide better patient interaction. The IoT can also ease the transfer of patient data, letting medical providers spend less time wrangling paperwork and more time with patients. Data measured over time makes it easier for hospital administrators to schedule doctors, nurses, and support staff, further reduce operating expenses. City Management Cities are large and unwieldy entities, and gaining an overview of them is challenging. Instead of relying on reports for employees, cities can instead use IoT data to make sense of their complexity. Which industries are IoT's early adopters? TechNative Cities are dynamic places, and handling events, both planned and unplanned, is a real challenge. Real-time data supplied by the IoT makes dealing with unusual circumstances more manageable. The IoT is expanding, and more industries will eventually incorporate the IoT paradigm into regular operations. Over time, more and more employees, managers, and planners will find themselves relying on IoT data as part of their daily jobs. Technological fads come and go, but the IoT idea is here to stay. All with the potential of being hacked, all need securing. Mechanoid | mechanoid

23/6/2018 22:52 | The board are not doing anything wrong. Blimey they even issued an rns warning you not to buy, clearly stating what they are worth. If you belive what the #poundsnotpence crew - johnma, kriss and still waiting etc etc over the Tern BoD then you are mad. Is Johnma selling? I don't know. He would be pretty stupid if he wasnt....10xNAV IS A SELL ALL DAY LONG As I have already demonstrated, you can easily sell without informing the market, happens all the time. Todd Kozel and GKP for example - reported months and months after he sold. If you paid 2,3,4p. Why arent you cashing out? U can get 30p, when ur own BoD says its worth 5p? #nobrainer | riot2
23/6/2018 22:47 | Riot are you referring to Johnna ? When he says a buy has been made at a price and quantity it appears. ---------- It is impossible to know if it is a sell or a buy. I could sell 200k shares and claim it's a buy and it would report on the tape exactly the same way. By using slightly delayed reporting it's impossible to even determine which way it was by seeing how close to bid or offer it was at the time. They really are indistinguishable. Bottom line is there have been no TR1s from JohnMa since the 0.41% rise to 7%. The other 6.59% was bought sub 10p most sub 5p. | loglorry1
23/6/2018 22:24 | Riot are you referring to Johnna ? When he says a buy has been made at a price and quantity it appears. So Johnna has bought 7% he has had to issue a number of rns all of which have been increasing his osition. He has not issued any to say he has sold but you are accusing him of buying at 2 p then selling. I bought most of mine at 2p 3p 4p and still have them. I have them because I have done my homework. So now you are saying Johnna is working a ponzi do you think the bod are in on the scheme as well? | warrenfingerfood

23/6/2018 21:22 | There have been people here pointing out the positives all the way and yes, even at 2p there was more than one voice predicting great things to come. The only reason we were at 2p in the first place was AF dumping followed swiftly by Alsop-Louie trying to stitch Tern up with the CLNs the result. The notion that this is just some Johney-come-lately pump is totally risible. This is a monster in the making and all the naysaying, bile, lies, accusations and grief that have been levelled at Tern and those who supported Tern over these years is about to be flung back with great force. You've picked the wrong group to try to intimidate. Been there. Done that. Still here. | mike routhorn
23/6/2018 21:21 | 5 Next Top IoT Companies to Look Out for in 2018 We take IoT security seriously. So does Device Authority. They offer a platform dedicated to improving security for devices, applications, and services. The “old” way of doing things meant networks needed to verify users. They could then use approved apps or devices. The “new” way of IoT technology means more devices need verification before users can use them. Device Authority aims to authenticate devices to save time automatically. Their KeyScaler™ platform registers devices and even offers encryption for data across networks. There’s a lot more to the technicalities of the platform. But it proves that companies are rising to the security challenges of IoT. KeyScaler™ is useful in the healthcare and industrial spheres at present. But it’ll be interesting to see how they tackle the challenges of consumer IoT technology. | moneymaker6 |
