05/6/2018 09:45 | gab147, Again I say I think you are on the wrong TERN BB, the valuations posted on here are at the other end of the scale, posters saying this is worthless, etc. if you want to state your views about 'pie in the sky' valuations, why not do it on the thread where they are 'pie in the sky'? Although I would say your words are the same for those with the negative 'worth nothing' predictions but they know they are trying to put new investors off.... | troutisout
05/6/2018 09:42 | I would agree with Trout that the value of DA will determined by its worth to the acquirer, which is not the same as sales. But this makes it very difficult to assess, and highly dependent on how Mr. Market views the addressable opportunity. So, put the same business case back into February, Year 2000, and TERN's mcap would already be north of £1. Three years later, a different story. What is on its side, is the unfolding of the IOT; and just like the dotcom boom, where the market took time to catch on, and then overcompensated, there could well be a similar event here. Nevertheless, critics of DA have continued, rightly, to question sales and revenues, since this is still a basic metric of the business case. So it will be interesting to see how the latest valuation, die at end of June, may take this into account. | brucie5
05/6/2018 09:40 | Why would a genuine long term holder insist on posting rubbish 24/7, cajole, threaten libel action, try to urge others to buy the share, denigrate and censor anyone not agreeing with their strategy, hmmm hard one that eh? Still no trades for close to an hour- poised for a fall. | o1dsmokie

05/6/2018 09:30 | IMO overly optimistic final valuations, pie in the sky predictions and general lack of realism posted on these BB's can have a negative affect on future investors. | gab147
05/6/2018 09:29 | No trades for 30 mins-is it suspended? hahahahahahahahah | o1dsmokie

05/6/2018 09:21 | Exactly gab147, so you can't do anymore than re-iterate that when others give their opinions. However the price won't be worked out on current sales revenues, it won't be decided on just the worth of device Authority, but on the worth to the acquirer and the worth to not let another entity own it. This is different to a lot of other businesses being built up to sell, where you work on building up the client base, the revenues and order book and use that to give a valuation. This will be on the Keyscaler product and what it can do for the acquiring business and what will happen if that business ends up not in control of it. Remember some are building platforms/products with Keyscaler right in the middle. The size and scale of the market and it's exponential growth forecasts would suggest that the final outcome will surprise many (probably on both sides of the coin) so will position my forecasts in the middle somewhere.... | troutisout

05/6/2018 09:12 | At the moment there is nothing to base thoughts on a final sale price for DA and the subsequent TERN share price Despite lots of talk there are no facts or figures to allow anyone to properly assess DA. | gab147
05/6/2018 09:01 | Just for balance............. THIS WILL NEVER REGAIN 28p | o1dsmokie
05/6/2018 08:58 | Just to put the Muppettes into perspective, one of them opines that ,because some people on AFN bb`s don`t own TERN shares, they will " end up peniless".So we must assume , if that is true ,that tens of millions of people in the UK, and perhaps in the world are all going to " end up penniless". A real example of the parallel universe these morons inhabit. .................. dave444 4 Jun '18 - 21:09 - 21811 of 21835 0 0 0 It is a shame all you idiots cannot see a real winner like TERN but I am afraid it is because you all have a prefixed agenda and therefore will end up penniless!!!!! You are all so transparent as to that agenda!! | o1dsmokie
05/6/2018 08:54 | I think you posted on the wrong TERN BB gab147.... But what are your thoughts on a final sale price for DA and the subsequent TERN SP? | troutisout
05/6/2018 08:53 | Sector newsThere's little need to tell anyone in IT that the Internet of Things (IoT) is a big deal and that it's growing insanely fast; BI Intelligence estimates that there will be some 23.3 billion IoT devices by 2019. As IoT support becomes more of an enterprise concern, there are four key issues about enterprise IoT (EIoT) deployments to consider: The sheer number of enterprise IoT endpoint devices – There will be 1 billion by 2019. The frequency of data generated IoT devices – IDC estimates that by 2025, an average connected person anywhere in the world will interact with connected devices nearly 4,800 times per day or one interaction every 18 seconds. The incredible volume of IoT data – Of the 163 zettabytes (that's 1021bytes) of data that will be created in 2025, IDC estimates that 60% will be from IoT endpoints and half of that (roughly 49 zettabytes) will be stored in enterprise data centers. The challenges of maintaining security for your device constellation – IDC estimates that by 2025, 45% of the stored enterprise data will be sensitive enough to require being secured but will not be.article cont... network world | queenwood

05/6/2018 08:46 | Anyone talking about a 1 billion pound sale price is living in cloud cuckoo land. I'm all for being positive but come on... | e-wan
05/6/2018 08:44 | Probably Amazon and Microsoft fighting it out to buy DA. The final price will be so high we'll all be so rich we will be able to buy Amazon and be the richest people in the world. Only IMO of course. This BB gets more ridiculous by the day. | gab147
05/6/2018 08:38 | Depends how soon one of the big companies comes in with a unicorn valuation bid!!!!! | dave444
05/6/2018 08:33 | Not looking good for you idiot clowns. How long does DA have left? | loughton
05/6/2018 08:32 | That would be under a penny a week(!) | chucko1
05/6/2018 08:31 | AT&T has been a partner for about a year now, but nothing material is ever disclosed Is DA involved in their IoT network in any way? May 29, 2018 With the connected freight IoT application, Honeywell is using AT&T’s 3G IoT network to track shipments when they are in transit. The company has outfitted pallets and packages with sensors that provide location information and measure things likes humidity and temperature. Honeywell then monitors the data so it can react quickly to prevent damage or loss of shipments. For the connected aircraft IoT application, AT&T’s network connects airplanes that are on the ground and provides flight crews and maintenance teams with information about the aircraft so they can perform maintenance and improve turnaround time. | andrbea |
