The move comes a month before a new EU data privacy law - the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) - comes into force.

It requires organisations to notify local data watchdogs of a breach within 72 hours of becoming aware, and increases the amount they can be fined for non-compliance.

"The timing of this is not a coincidence," said Mr Green.

"A lot of this will be about ensuring that Gmail will continue to be a viable for enterprise users, as it will help them show they are GDPR-compliant."

Google has begun rolling out the new features, which are already available to select users via their settings menu

My take is that there will be a need to have a plan in place for zero power network, especially in defence, emergency services, hospitals, banks, etc in case of terror attack on our ecosystem. It will be huge. Also it could go global too!

Loughton, you are actually the first person who has ever called me such a thing as a clueless clown on any B.B. I have been an occasional contributor for about 19 years! That said, there was one chap who thought I deserved a bullet in my head for being more negative on an internet incubator (Oxygen) that you are on TERN. But in that case, it had an NAV of 2p and a market price of 43p (I was correct, of course, though it was not a difficult task).

I see more more hope in TERN than OXY (necessarily a relative statement).

But at least I, unlike you, am quite happy for people to check my credentials by seeeing the other things that I invest in and why. Some people on this B.B. are claiming that, in fact, you have run out of money for investment. That, if true, is not supportive of your statement that you are one of the wordl’s best .......
