stent, just takes one of those to have a need of urgency (say from a pressing Biden EO/Directive) and they may feel it better for a global to control Keyscaler and ensure a rapid rollout ?

exciting times..

We don't know if there have been approaches to buy any of our assets, we can not see the path for say DA. We could of had offers but as AS and team can see the bigger picture for DA those offers might of fallen well short of what Tern realisee will be future value. Also I believe that need has grown. We once only really talked about the medical sector as a target. DA looks to have clicked with much more than that.

2021: The Ultimate Reality Check for Cybersecurity
We all hear about the large-scale data hacks events that have made global headlines recently. But far from the glare of media attention, organizations of all sizes are increasingly being targeted by cybercriminals due to insecure endpoints.

In this session, our panel of cybersecurity experts will share how real-life threat events during the pandemic have forever changed the cyber threat landscape, and strategies for combating new-age threats in the face increasing endpoint visibility and control challenges.

We’ll also share how recent high-profile cyber attacks are still impacting the business world, and what changes organizational leaders can anticipate from recent public hearings and governmental actions.

the 'many, many' bit strikes me as weird, as we never hear one single name mentioned. For DA, exit clock running, 6 years in.

High time that Sisto named names, as vague dialogue leaves me cold.

hahahahahahah the trogs are desperate for doubters to name names, meanwhile the CEO can`t find any either.

Only investors are jarred by the lack of understanding. Sometimes things are in plain sight but many are blinded by their inability to see what some can see. I suspect Darron and Sisto are sitting very comfortably knowing it is a question of when and not if and are in no hurry to sell an appreciating asset until they believe true value has been outed. No one knows, other than the inner circle what conversations have taken place. Biden's executive order is not a work of fiction, nor are the comments made by Darron or MicroSoft. Recently you have had another company highlight the importance of DA and what it brings to the table.

There are many companies on AIM that claim to have blockbuster products and that they satisfy a need and that they are a "must have". Today's world has many threats but the largest threat comes from cyber attacks and the devastation they can cause. Anyone in this space that can prevent such attacks will be very much in demand and DA seems to be a company that has the tools to prevent such attacks. Capturing even a small part of this market will make a huge difference to what DA is worth and in turn Tern.

From where I sit all the "clues" have been continually highlighted and if it happens tomorrow, next week, next month or even next year I am comfortable that it will happen and that true value will be achieved.

Wyld not doing too well today either.

Roll on the OTC listing, and perhaps more US visibility about DA as things accelerate?

AS' owns words:

"We are actively, every month you know having conversations with many, many, potential exit opporunities but also cogniscent of the fact that a fourth quarter exit round with substantial increases in the SaaS revenues, as a measurement of the churn of the customer base etc and the multiples we are seeing right now are handsome and going up so we are carefully considering all of the opportunities as they present themselves but also looking at these opportunties with the idea that within two more quarters of performance the multiple on revenue would generate a sizeable difference in the multiple on Enterpise Value for the business..."

S/W What I find very strange is the fact that if D/A are well ahead of the curve and needed badly as most think , why has no one that we know of made a move for them, and that is NOT a question so I can trade, you would think there would be a line outside their offices with Cheque books open, maybe it is going to happen, but in these days of many security failures, the company would appear to be wide open to be bought out, been in stage 3 for as long as I care to remember, something needs to happen to start seeing the true worth here.

more than enough business for everyone with all these 100's of bn's of devices up for securing for the lifetime, but wouldn't complain about being a few pounds behind Crowdstrike market cap mind !!!

Philjeans, have a read of Crowdstrike's IoT page -

hxxps://www.crowdstrike.com/cybersecurity-101/endpoint-security/

It's all about antivirus, threat monitoring and detection etc. ie. It's the old school approach to cybersecurity, a perpetual arms race. The devices are monitored and policed, not secured.

I see nothing about scale either.

Yesterday's methods.

FFS if a small company had a unique product it would be bought up in the blink of an eye; there is something dreadfully wrong with naive people believing that their company has a guaranteed value of billions , its called insanity!

phil, I think they are very much a detect and report outfit...

they seem very vague on how they actually secure IoT beyond detect and firewalls/antivirus..

IoT Security Tools
Since there is no single security tool that can provide uniform and complete protection across all connected devices, IoT security requires a blend of elements from both the endpoint security strategy and cloud security strategy.

The following capabilities can help ensure the security of all connected devices and are considered a necessity for all modern organizations:

1. Prevention: Next-generation antivirus (NGAV)

Next-generation antivirus (NGAV) uses advanced technologies, such as AI and machine learning, to identify new and emerging threats by examining more elements, such as file hashes, URLs and IP addresses.

2. Detection: Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)

Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) is a solution that provides continuous and comprehensive visibility into what is happening on endpoints in real time. Businesses should look for solutions that offer advanced threat detection and investigation and response capabilities, including incident data search and investigation, alert triage, suspicious activity validation, threat hunting and malicious activity detection and containment.

Philjeans, I have asked this board more than once for someone to name a company/product that can do what DA's Keyscaler does.

All I've ever got in response has been tumbleweed.

Anyone stating that there are plenty of rivals ought at least to name some otherwise it's just an empty claim.

Darron said 'use us or do nothing' and Biden has removed the 'do nothing' option.

A question for the tech experts please; over the weekend, we saw a comment that " there were lots of larger and more successful security companies out there who offered similar products and services to DA, including "retro fitting".

Is that correct and if so (and more to the point) can they also offer that service AT SCALE? ie securing hundreds, thousands, hundreds of thousands of devices in relatively quick time?

I'm no expert but I think this is an important USP for DA, if it's true.

Not wishing to start an argument but I wouldn't want such statements on this board to go unchallenged, if deliberately misleading!

We are currently working with a number of Privileged Access Management (PAM) vendors, such as CyberArk, and keen to get your feedback on whether an integrated IoT/PAM solution would be interesting for your IoT use cases?

Detect & Protect Against the Fundamental Nature of Ransomware

Presented by
David Higgins - Technical Director EMEA, CyberArk

The Endpoint is more exposed than it ever has been before. As remote working becomes the norm, these devices are now very much outside the perimeter of the office defences. Not only is the working environment evolving, so too is Ransomware; becoming more targeted and in some cases maximising financial gain to the attacker through approaches such as double extortion.

Despite this shift in how attackers leverage Ransomware, there remains a consistency in what they do – a fundamental nature that we could look to target in order to protect our endpoints.

In this session we take a look at:
- How to achieve a holistic approach to securing the endpoint
- How to enforce security best practices such as Least Privilege and Application Control
- How these best practices can actually protect against the fundamental nature of Ransomware, whilst also providing early warning signs of an in-play attack
