27/4/2017 09:34 | I have an elastic band on my arm I snap every time I am hit by regret. I sold out of this stock about 350p after SHARES reported a broker telling people to get out of property stocks. I am twanging my band a lot reading this. Good luck those of you who knew what you were about and stayed in property. Scared to get back in now though cos I think the pound is rebounding. Oh yeah, Hackney Wick is a brilliant area. Wish I'd bought a flat round there myself years ago now. | runthejoules
27/4/2017 08:58 | Very pleased to see the share price moving up. I didn't expect it to happen so quickly but view this as a solid long term holding. The Peel Hunt target price is not unrealistic imo. I don't usually time my purchases so well! | jimbowen30
26/4/2017 14:59 | Pillion, Peel Hunt have raised their target price to 505p. | aimingupward2
26/4/2017 11:39 | aimingupward2 See posts 2234 & 2235 for info We will find out in due course the price paid Peel Hunt's forecast of GBX 4.65 is a decent guess imho | pillion

26/4/2017 09:27 | I'm very pleased to see TEF's share price going back to what I paid for it. Fairly sure that house prices are beginning to cool in London, though. I'm glad it hasn't dented the share price yet. | capricious71
26/4/2017 08:48 | TEF managed to exchange contracts within 3 weeks of winning the bid by informal tender Remarkable on a 20m plus site As this site is oven ready for immediate TEF are unable to add any value by planning betterment Looks very likey that the wily old foxeshave already got this heading out The residential to M&G or Notting Hill and the commercial element to Workpsace with some sort of reciprocal arrangemnt on the further phases at Manhattan Plaza TEF will hav covered all bases -as usual They are the real deal | hillofwad
26/4/2017 08:35 | Seeing sense at last, Old Mutual reduced their short in TEF from 1.09% to 0.87% on the 21st April. They must be getting badly burned on this one. | gp1948
26/4/2017 08:09 | Back in for a few today....will look to average up if all goes to Plan. | pj 1
26/4/2017 07:29 | Peel Hunt increase their share price target from 465 to 505 and reiterate BUY reco this morning. | muscletrade
25/4/2017 22:39 | Its in an up and coming area of NE London undergoing significant regeneration: close to the Olympic Stadium and QE Olympic Park and, around 3 miles from the City, Barbican and Canary Wharf. | mount teide
25/4/2017 21:38 | Is 'circa £23m' a known figure or an estimate based on 'average' or 'normal' ratios for either home builders in general or Telford in particular? Pillion, the rns says "adjacent to Hackney Wick Overground station, the area has become a highly desirable location to live and work." It's near the site of the Olympic Stadium. Edit. I've googled 'stone studios, hackney wick' and found that Savills were the agents selling the site for "in excess of £23m". So, answered my earlier question. How much over £23m was paid, we don't know. | aimingupward2
25/4/2017 19:03 | Is that a respectable area of London ? I'm up here in Lancashire, so got no idea at all | pillion
25/4/2017 18:37 | circa £23m | easyfella
25/4/2017 18:32 | Do we know what was paid for it? The "more than £80m" referred to in the rns will be the value of the completed development, won't it? | aimingupward2
25/4/2017 17:41 | We paid a fair £££ Freehold too !! | pillion
25/4/2017 17:37 | .....will deliver 110 new open market homes and 10 affordable homes along with 54,218 sq.ft. of commercial space including 32,540 sq.ft. of affordable workspace..... | pillion
25/4/2017 17:26 | TEF share price was nearly 500p in Q2 2015. Reckon the company is in a better position now than it was then, albeit macro uncertainty may be greater at this point? Aimho | speedsgh
25/4/2017 13:36 | Looks another very astute acquisition - will probably make highly irritating reading for Old Mutual as they continue to try and close out their short without the price running any further away from them. | mount teide
25/4/2017 12:54 | TEF have had a great run up recently and now through the £4.00 barrier. The good news continues with their announcement today of another acquisition - Stone Studios. Read the details on the company's website here: | gp1948
19/4/2017 21:11 | I'm not challenging anyone PJ1 - just interested to discuss these things. | gp1948
19/4/2017 20:58 | gp yes, I totally agree with you. I was.just putting some extra context to the previous post ref Stockopedia. How come you challenged my post and not that of previous post corbeta 2224? | pj 1
19/4/2017 20:51 | PJ1 - All those number you quote above are computer generated. What do they actually mean? I think one needs to look at companies in a more detailed way, rather than rely on these websites which spew out meaningless figures. TEF is a quality outfit, quality management and offering a quality product ; subject to market forces of course, but such is the nature of any share. | gp1948 |
