Balmoral, CRP (formerly Trelleborg) & First Subsea (they make the connection system but subcontract the CPS from BMP)

Can you name the 3 other UK suppliers please for my research. I'm aware of larger international suppliers, less so UK. So your insights are appreciated.

They are just not cutting it with the market.Maybe we just have to wait until the results come out.

Don’t dislike them I’m merely highlighting that there are other better suppliers out there. Tekmar certainly don’t win them all as their competitors have secured some large contracts lately. However they choose not to run to the industry press to crow about it.

Just now "Tekmar Energy has secured a contract to manufacture and supply 22 Bend Restrictor Trains for the Lufeng Project in the South China Sea. The products will be manufactured at our manufacturing facility in Newton Aycliffe in the UK and delivered to China in Q3 2021.#offshoreenergy l #protection l #china l Tekmar Group"

You really don't like them do you? Have you worked with them? From what I can see they win all the work anyway! I don't think it is right for government to start to mandate local suppliers, if every other export opportunity did the same how would we grow! They win work in USA China and lots in EU...

@pinemartin9 why would the UK Government “make sure that Tekmar benefit” when there are at least 3 other UK suppliers of CPS. Some of which are far more competent & experienced with a better track record of delivering quality subsea products on time.

Looks like it is being manipulated/forced down. Small PI buying but ripe for a short for some people I think. I think any shorts would naturally unwind as we approach results. Sentiment could change very quickly here. They are in a hot sector and have large but limited competition. With a bit of tweaking they could do very well. Just need a few big contract wins. Either way, it could go lower (I hope note) but in my humble opinion anyone shorting this would be daft to do so when an announcement is made or imminent. I go back to one of my previous comments - why aren't UK HM Government anchoring local supply chain in the UK and doing more to make sure that TEKMAR benefit from the major opportunity that exists in UK? We need to build businesses like this so they can grow into world leaders.

I've got my fingers crossed its in a similar situation as SWG where the share price keeps falling then suddenly they pull out a trading statement and the whole momentum of the share charges. Into a upward trend.

This management team are dead wood, with very little PR skills. We could do with a fresh team in, who are capable of giving us financial guidance

I know people who have and still do work here. Toxic business in trouble people leaving left right and centre, poorly organised, poor morale wouldn't touch this with a barge pole

I've got a really bad feeling this could drop lower on no good news on the 1st, good news always leaks and with share price going lower I don't feel there is any..
Like mentionned below, this sounded like a good buy for the green outlook, but clearly the board are incapable.
I emailed investor relations about 2 weeks ago asking if there was any further information about the business available, never got a reply...

I think probably a lot of people bought this as a sort of green tech growth stock and aren't willing to stay the course. Stockopedia have it classed as contrarian now. Probably cuz of the loss of momentum over time. From what I can see the numbers in terms of revenue going forward etc don't give the impression of a big growth story any time soon, so for many maybe the investment time line is looking uncertain for them. Personally I am buying the dip. But if the trajectory continues will have to review the whole investment case and see if the stock is getting v cheap for a good reason.
