They must have a threshold amount for an RNS - the last 2 were for £4 million plus. Perhaps this was for £2 or £3 million..

It's a follow on contract for next generation product for export cable as apples to the interconnect cables"Following an award for the array cable scope in 2020, Tekmar Energy is pleased to announce that Prysmian Group has selected its Generation 10 Cable Protection System (CPS) to protect export cables on the Saint-Nazaire offshore wind farm, meaning the project's entire subsea cable system will be protected with Tekmar Energy's patented CPS technology."

It feels like the large seller is nearly done now.. last week I could by £50,000 at a time with quote and deal - today only with a limit buy.

Its on the company website not an RNS (presumably not material enough to warrant an RNS). The good news keeps coming here.

Invoice discount financing is certainly possible but is limited by the fact that a good chunk of the receivables are unbilled. Banks won't typically lend against receivables unless invoices have actually been raised.

They could potentially access more CBILS funding which may have laxer covenants than unsecured bank debt - not sure banks would be too keen to lend unsecured w/o partial government guarantees given the recent history.

But generally, equity is much better funding for this sort of company because, by definition, it lacks covenants that may be hard to meet.

Why do you consider the balance sheet to be stressed? As of the half year results on 1st Dec they had very low borrowings.

"Other interest-bearing loans and borrowings £3,265,000"

Couldn't they fund any increase in working capital needs by borrowing rather than raising equity?

contrariwise

You're right I misread the dates. So 1.4 gone in 2 months.

I bought a few around 60p but no more yet as chart still in downtrend or level.
