This has to go up, the IEA announced this week NO NEW FOSSIL FUEL PROJECTS from now.

-30% down, I would normally top up or dump but waiting for the results.

We are at 50p ish a week before update.
I sold down 50% of my holding and will either average down or dump the rest on the 1st of June.
So many opportunities at the moment, no point in tieing your money up here for years..

Interesting perspective. Not much that's new in there. I think the point about margins and profitability is interesting. I'd like to see that some of the massive offshore opportunity that exists in the UK is being capitalized on by UK PLC. We need to work on anchoring the supply chain, building the expertise and then exporting it. Local content was always meant to be a factor in some of the big contracts.

I'd disagree. Who would splash 50k of their cash on a gamble that they could somehow influence the share price of a small illiquid company. I believe he would have bought on conviction and a bit of internal knowledge. That's not to say he's right, but it sends a strong signal.

May be a PR stunt...to offset any news that might not have been in the public domain yet...

Still holding a very large position. Come on newsflow. CEO still had the confidence to splash 50k gbp of his own on shares in January this year.

Maybe they just aren't see as big enough? There's JDR (TFKable), Nexans and Prysmian who are all much much bigger. Nexans in particular look to have been v successful:
hxxps://www.nexans.com/business/High-Voltage---Projects/Offshore-windfarms.html

That said perhaps they provide the products to some of these big companies when they bid and win? Therefore we wouldn't always hear about those successes?

@elsa7878 ….. and then deliver it on time in full as efficiently as possible to the required quality (which is equally a big challenge.

There are massive OWFs planned in the next few years - we just need to secure some of the business. The numbers are quite boggling. The Hornsea hub, Dogger Bank, Sofia, the USA, not to mention what's going on in the blackhole that is China. Ireland is also developing Codling. Honestly, there are loads.
This would be new business, we have also maintenance business. Need to understand and address what floating offshore wind does to TGPs prospects.

Either way, they just need to win some business - the market opportunity is massive and they are well placed to capitalise. This ticks a lot of boxes - undervalued at the moment, unloved, right place right time, tail winds behind the business. They seem to have ramped up their activities in China looking at the BD people they have over there.

Yes, Biden is a fan and we have already won US contracts.
Plenty of buys this morning, really need that update!
Think we loose sight of how advanced the Tekmar product is and that they are market leaders... The value will shine through

Isn't Biden in favour of having wind farm energy?...TGP could do with some huge contracts from US...

Pine, totally agree, I'm in at 50p with a tight loss set.
News that the cable issue is not an issue plus some good words from the CEO and boom...
1st of June can't come quick enough here for me

Risk reward is looking good to me here. We had the doom and gloom before Xmas and bounced twice from the 45-50 p area. We then had the Orsted cable announcement and it again bounced back from48p area. A couple of decent contract wins and this could significantly rerate. Offshore wind farms are booming and if we can secure just a bit of this work we would be doing well. Was there now a director who purchased at 63p ish not that long ago. Market cap of £26M seems too small to me for a company with these prospects. I'd like to see more success with their bidding but perhaps they're looking to see what they can do in the Sales/Bid function. I'm happy dipping my toe in again but with a relatively tight stop loss. I'm hoping for a quickish 30% here.

This had a chance to go lower sub 50p but went up.
There's momentum here, less than 2 weeks until the update.

If they were all sells the share price would be far lower..
Don't forget this is AIM, manipulation and foul play are the order of the day!
This will rise into the update as recent drop was well over cooked!

What do you think all the large transactions at 51.5 are. The price would imply sells, unless delayed purchases. Either way very large transactions.

Yes definitely overhang, quite a small free float, so will move quite quickly when it does.
Update due 1st June, im expecting 60p plus by then, but let's see... GLA
