FB, many invested previously because they thought they knew something but nothing materialised and looks like history is repeating itself!

It is, and always has been, a stock for gamblers;-)

Believing there is value when there is no evidence that it actually exists means you could do no worse than invest on the toss of a coin! Might as well go to the bookies?

You have to question why would this mining company want a failed AIM company with no experience of metal trading to undertake such an important task. It has a whiff about it.

I wonder how many other mining companies have sought out tiny, failing and financially challenged AIM companies to trade their commodities?

Personally, if I was in their position, I'd either do it myself or leave it to the experts. There are plenty of good metal traders out there!

Look at the 2010 copper growth projections, research the JV company and their mines, work out where teo's VQ's going.

what does it take for you idiots to realise even 2P is cheap?

ps I'm very chilled and pleased with my purchases. Not selling for less than 2.75p.

Redd - so all the new buys and chunky at that. are a few speculative punters allowing 12 grand to ride on abdolutely nothing??

I think not - 35m traded and NR's stake absorbed easily - this is an illiquid aim stock that has witnessed more stock traded in 2 days than in a year. LOL!

I am sure I would not buy in and risk 12k on this announcement but obviously IMHO some believe there is value here. How much and for what we wonder?? LOL!

BARTS, a PE is based on earnings; no earnings, no PE.

If you're talking about a prospective PE (not that you mentioned it) then, so far, there is no company or analyst information available. Therefore, any discussion is based on..............erm................guesses?

Any talk of a nice round figure such as £1m profit is only made by rampers!!

Have you considered how much money would be required to finance and trade "Tecteon expects about 3,000-6,000 tons of copper to be financed and sold per month and 3,000 tons of both zinc and lead"?

I can't see £300k being anywhere near enough!

Add to that the volatility in trading commodities allied to TEO's track record I would follow NR's example. Pronto!!

Maybe this is the reason for a change of strategy......

Just to point out now that protected trades that used to show as T trades
are no longer since the delayed trades were abolished.

So now a lot of worked trades that show as normal towards and after the close
look like normal trades and are displayed as O trades.

Both those million trades will be worked buys and the reason why Evo sat on
the bid first thing at 1p and took a hammering and why the bid rose gradually
through the afternoon.

As most of you say, we have not got a clue on the new business or figures but
somebody wants the stock in a big way.

All imho..sold at 1.05p this morning but regret that now but it did look like
it was going to tank first thing, most penny stocks that jump over 50-100% do
lose some of it the next day.

Is it just a simple PE ratio?? If they make £1 million profit over the year on a PE of 16 gives approx 8p.....possible.....cannot see why not.....mining is in the headlines at the moment,prices are going up,lead has recently seen huge increases alone....just think of all those roofs getting stripped of lead which will need replacing....second hand market for lead is fetching nearly £1000 per tonne and new lead is now about £2500 per tonne......

Seems to me that TEO are going back to their roots.....never a bad thing IMO.....

Chopsy and Stav,
If the RNS is to be believed, there will be more deals in the pipe line.
Interesting to see there are new punters buying. No surprise that some exsisting holders took the opportunity to get out, not really interested in why they sold, I am encourage to see the share price went up staedily despite the heavy selling.
Still a very speculative share, but, at least the share looks a lot stronger now.

Please don't start a which share goes higher competition between the 3 as someone will end up with egg on their face at the end of the week/year. NR has failed to respond to my fairly fundamental point behind her decision being based on the state of vq in the business so let's move on once and for all.

Can we please move onto the simple fact that of the 35m shares there does not appear to be a single buyer from this BB. Surely that is a fairly staggering point given the near total monopoly this BB has had in the past over the trading activity? How are now going to find out what is going on from the folks who are buying?

The 2 trades were not reported until late and the one at 1.20 was reported about 20 mins after the first.

Think a few ramping posts on PRM EPO would not go amiss. Niether for me though.

The last two 1,000,000 trades look more like a rollover to me, but because of the unusually tight spread it's difficult to say for sure.

NR's exit was a big hurdle for TEO to absorb so well, imagine if there is no selling by the long term holders, time to think positive......
