Face it chaps the EvoQ is large, heavy and not the best product for the quality VQ.

Marketing an inferior product even with a quality team (which TEO never had) would have been challenging!

So VQ is just a nice addition and will find new homes in the future.

The money is in the new JV and the expertise and network of the top man.

He's proved to be an excellent deal maker and I'm holding these. This is just the start of the climb to new heights IMHO.

The regulars will now know I was far from b*llsh1ting when I said this dog's not dead. If only you'd listened to me selling at 3p and buying at .45p.

May be at last you will realise and listen.......2p and beyond in the next 6 months!!! LOLsss

I'm in DEEP and NOT selling for a good while!!!

LOLsss

Masoud Alikhani also controls ESV so there's some Russian links, and he knows about the shipping side of things.
I hope we buy back some DOM shares...

ROFLMAO - 18 months ago you were all complaining about "two strings to the bow" - i.e. DOM - now you all welcome it.
Probably worth backchecking the new partner to see if there is any Russian involvement.
Anyway - hope the rise continues.

Wassapper - maybe they could team up with some of your miners?

Trading ore is unlikely to be capital intensive. There is no exploration cost, no exploration licence to buy, no mining costs, just forward sell xk tons of a, b or c @ somuch per ton, borrow against the sale note, buy the ore at, say, half the sale price, arrange transport, pay for transport, interest, currency hedges and admin, the rest is pure profit. Could be money for old rope.

NR,

Given you had over 8 million shares have you gone and sold half of them? Your average if I recall was around 3.5p and you were in for over £200,000 if I remember.

That means you have sold for a heavy loss and taken out around £35,000. More or less depending on percentage sold.

Are my figures way off?

RE: dell314 - 9 Nov'07 - 09:10 - 28689 of 28754 - "wassapper ... Are you suggesting that every company and individual with access to a few hundred grand could do exactly the same thing?"

Del - no I am not suggesting anything of the sort. I was trying to clarify the point that estalishing a metals trading business requires a lot less capital than being a miner (which was the tone of the discussion at that time).

I agree with you this is a volte face and a lot more detail is required, but in my experience, some successful mining and metals deals in Africa do come from who you know and not necessarily what you know.

Still worth a punt for a few hundred pounds no more.

Trading metals is not necessarily a guarantee of profits. Many companies make losses.

they will have a nice cash pile from this deal. They still have some cash left in bank. The lender must be hapy with the companys new policy or they wouldnt have lent the money.

Back to a P and what a day for my sunken wreak! LOL!

Not sold any as this is a prayer answered and he hath given back the opportunity to grow.

At least Alikhani is back in a place he knows and he is one to deal in emerging markets. The new Oligark Alikhani will be buying a football club next! LOL!

wcj,

And let's hope we get some good value increase from here.

I suspect Alikhani had this deal looking for a home. Given the sector, it looks good as an instant producer into a market with great demand. The market for base metals is expected to grow strongly for many years.

I suspect the tech side is not dead and we may still, at some point, see an injection of a deal or a team.

It's a bit of a hotch-potch, but as long as it gives us value and grows I'm all for it.

It may settle down more logically later on, but beggars can't be choosers and at least we have two strings to our bow now. Even if odd, it's better than none.

I just felt I understand my EPO and PRM a bit better at the moment.

Good luck to all holders.

;-)

It's always a sensible thing to do is too sell a % when the demand is
there, the mm's are happy to make a great % on all of the two way trade
such as selling that 588k at 1.2p and buying back at 1.05p.

Current limits are 1p bid for 500k v 1.17p offer for 150k.

Alright, FINISHED selling about half an hour ago and have notified company. Announcement should be soon (next few days).

Sold quite a few, but holding significant balance to see what transpires.

Now off to watch my long-term EPO and PRM rise. And a few FEP held as a punt.
