03/12/2024 11:11 | In 2017 this was trading on a p/e of 7.5 and a 3.5% yield. Now on a p/e of 4.8 and a 7% yield. Plenty of scope for a rerating if the country can navigate a peaceful path through the current local and geopolitical strife. | flyfisher
30/11/2024 04:36 | How far through the 'buy back' are they, or another way, how much have they bought out of the intended buy back ? | leedsu36
17/11/2024 03:56 | TBC Bank Group PLC announced that its Chairman, Arne Berggren, acquired 2,500 ordinary shares at an average price of £31.31 per share on the London Stock Exchange. This transaction highlights the ongoing confidence in the company’s performance, as TBC Bank continues to lead in the financial services sector across Georgia and Uzbekistan, with significant market shares and a strong digital banking presence. | leedsu36

31/10/2024 10:11 | Meanwhile, TBCG Georgia monthly figures were out yesterday on the BOG website, which complete an excellent Q3, about 8% ahead of Q2. Of course this is as much about local geopolitics as it is about business. On that note the president has been requested to attend the prosecutors office to present evidence of vote rigging, notably she has refused to attend. I bought on tuesday. | flyfisher
30/10/2024 10:41 | To be honest I don't hold this and I'd be reluctant to make any investments in Georgian companies because of geopolitical risk. The US would like to turn Georgia into Ukraine mark 2, in which case it could end up in ruins. If that fails it could end up under sanctions. Either way an investment would be high risk. | kernelthread
30/10/2024 10:28 | Good thing going forward Kernel or not? They've been in control now for 10 years is it? | leedsu36
30/10/2024 09:11 | Georgian Dream - the incumbents. US and EU have been trying to kick off mass protests at the result, with the help of the country's puppet "president", but so far that's been a damp squib. Turkey has recognised the result as valid. I think Georgian Dream will stay in power. | kernelthread
30/10/2024 08:05 | Who won the election? | leedsu36
10/9/2024 02:55 | You seem to have a problem with basic facts Fitch expects GD to easily win the Georgia election next month and to move the country further into the Russian geopolitical orbit and away from EU integration Georgia could even face sanctions And you think that this is not relevant to the BGEO and TBC share price? lol The Georgia stock market and BGEO and TBC and the GEL currency are very likely to fall a long way after GD win the election next month | popit
09/9/2024 22:16 | So 3 more posts of your repetitive gibberish just to make sure my post pointing out your original repetitive gibberish is pushed down the board. Utter drivel. | pastybap
09/9/2024 22:04 | Would not be surprised to see these fall back quite a long way to below £20 as GD are obviously set to win the Georgia election in October | popit
09/9/2024 21:50 | Not exactly gibberish if GD win the election and move the country towards Russia www.fitchsolutions.c | popit
09/9/2024 17:54 | You must be a Russian bot. Talk about repetitive gibberish both on here and BGEO. | pastybap

23/7/2024 21:44 | Q2 results are due in a few weeks. Monthly figures available on the National bank of Georgia website indicate a step change in profit for both may and june. It shows net income from georgia operations to be up 14% from the first quarter. Providing Uzbekistan has done ok then Q2 results should be excellent. I expect some broker upgrades will follow. | flyfisher
