22/11/2022 17:32 | 'an accelerated bookbuild placement' What's that??? | eggbaconandbubble
22/11/2022 16:23 | European Bank for Reconstruction & Development sold 850,000 shares in the Georgian lender in an accelerated bookbuild this morning. Given that the deal was £17m, they did pretty good to get it away at what looks like a modest discount. | flyfisher
22/11/2022 14:48 | Why the drop in share price today? | eggbaconandbubble
20/10/2022 12:32 | A big trade went through 432725 at 1780p. I wonder if that had been creating an overhang. | flyfisher
20/10/2022 11:58 | On the other hand, it could now be a cup and handle, indicating a possible upward surge. I'm not really a techie, so I'm just guessing. | daijavu
10/10/2022 08:26 | A head and shoulders so possibly another sharp drop ahead | daijavu
23/8/2022 07:48 | Similar metrics to BGEO, earnings forecast 470p for current year, yield 7.1% based on their dividend policy. | flyfisher

01/6/2021 23:48 | Directors sell, the share price rise, what is going on? It's like a signal to say buy ? This looks to be following BGEO in its trajectory. | ball deap
04/5/2021 08:13 | On April 28, the Monetary Policy Committee of the National Bank of Georgia decided to increase the refinancing rate by 1 percentage point to 9.50%. Trying to defend the currency and combat inflation. | flyfisher
02/5/2021 09:01 | I was having a look at this. Looks quite attractive however the share price is currently stuck in a death spiral as they are going to be ejected from the FTSE350 at the next review which is the 2nd June. The share price would need to bounce back to at least 1150 for them to have a chance of staying in the index. I am going to keep them on my watch list for a couple of weeks to see what plays out. | salpara111
27/4/2021 07:22 | 2020 Annual Report is here:hxxps://tbcbank no dividend. "We continue to closely monitor the economic situation in Georgia and hold active discussions with regulatory bodies about the possibility of resuming paying dividends." Asagi (long TBCG) | asagi
11/3/2021 08:39 | As with bgeo, dividend is usually declared when announcing agm date in April so a good punt at the mo | jonnybig
19/2/2021 17:34 | Sab, Get involved at these prices, look at the figures, sell on release of figures, buy on the dip, it isn't Rocky science guys. Get ready on Monday, check at 14.12 for that large odd trade then take a look at level 2 which will reveal the wisdom. Stay LONG | ball deap
10/2/2021 10:47 | It's been a relatively grim winter for the Georgian economy with Covid shutdowns still ongoing but gradually starting to be lifted now. Overall GDP of -6.1% for 2020, and currently 8th in the world by covid cases per capita for countries with a population > 1M, with vaccinations not expected to start until March or April. On top of this is a continued adverse currency movement of GEL vs sterling over final quarter and -18.5% over the past 1 year. I exited my position today with a round-trip profit of approx. 12% over about 15 months. I could be wrong, results may be good since lockdown didn't happen until end of November, the govt's been using fiscal stimulus and the market ought to look to a brighter outlook, albeit probably pushed out to H2 2021. Dividend more likely to be confirmed at next interims than the upcoming finals, imho. Good luck to all holders. | cordwainer
12/12/2020 03:27 | Upgraded to Ba2 from Ba3 by Moody's. Paraphrasing their definitions: Obligations rated Ba are judged to be speculative and are subject to substantial credit risk. The '2' puts TBCG into the mid-range ranking of that category. www.moodys.com/Pages | cordwainer
24/11/2020 07:15 | For perspective, I think RNS is saying CEO reduced his personal stake by 6.8% recently. Deputy CEO also reduced, can't find that holding information atm. | cordwainer
18/11/2020 14:36 | Further to run through 2021. | cordwainer
18/11/2020 08:11 | Another good update on top of the recent one from bgeo. Like these cheap Georgia stocks. | jonnybig
17/11/2020 15:57 | Q3 results tomorrow. | cordwainer
11/11/2020 15:52 | Didn't see this coming !!! | ball deap
11/11/2020 13:21 | Got this, cgeo and bgeo. 3 well run companies under the radar so nice and cheap. | jonnybig |
