17/4/2019 11:30 | Jugears a) I'd like to buy some more and b) it's the wrong month :)) I tried paying for advfn but stopped it when I found it wasn't really required once I found a decent trading platform. | gbh2
17/4/2019 10:30 | Advfn keep asking me to pay for this site. i would if the data wasn't often wrong Wrong XD dates, wrong pay dates, wrong dividend amounts I have no idea why the monitor can't show the correct data Current bid-closing bid = move - not hard | marksp2011
17/4/2019 09:29 | gbh2, Why ? | jugears
17/4/2019 08:27 | This could do with a 5% pull back before continuing on up to 200p. | gbh2
16/4/2019 10:16 | Or you could use Dividend Max to get a full years Forecast :) | gbh2
16/4/2019 09:28 | Or you could just look on Tw web site. | jugears
16/4/2019 08:37 | When the Results are posted, open them in a web page and use ctr+F to bring up a search option, type in dividend and use the result to search for every mention of the word - No need to rely on anyone else for detail :)) | gbh2
16/4/2019 08:28 | unknighted Not too lazy, went through the reports and could not find that info. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for details. | billy5

15/4/2019 17:55 | mark,Four house builders, well done. I've held RDW until recently and regret selling. Perhaps there will be another opportunity? There are a number of good house building companies. Despite Brexit and all the political rhetoric, I think TW. is a good share. Houses and the UK go hand in hand. Anyway looking forward to June 6 and the run up to it. | craftyale
15/4/2019 17:38 | Crafty Wrong thread On this thread you get your cake and you eat it too. 10% yield and £3 for as long as HTB lasts. After the election, I doubt it will last very long :) i hold 4 housebuilders but have no expectation of capital growth - they look like quasi utilities to me. Fairly low growth with an excellent dividend return. TW report recognises they are in a place they can manage well and are reducing their landbank to release capital so, they aren't going for growth. I think they all learned their lesson and they know how fickle the cycle can be so they are trying to set themselves at a volume they hope they can crank out forever. Would I be paying £3 for them? No chance. i would want 7-8% to hold them given the risks. | marksp2011
15/4/2019 17:28 | From the half year Report dated 31/7/18 it says Special dividend of GBP350 million (c.10.7p pence per share) to be paid in July 2019 Has there been any indication when that goes ex divi or will it be left until the AGM on the 25/4. Thanks, | billy5
15/4/2019 16:50 | As much as I like this share, £3 wont come anytime soon. It pays too high of a dividend. For £3 to be realised the div will have to be reduced. I'm happy to take the 10% div (again) and reinvest but £3 will not happen at the same time. | craftyale
15/4/2019 14:54 | marksp2011 I don't ever get excited.£3 will come. | jugears
15/4/2019 13:43 | Fundamentals seem irrelevant these days, this company, like many others is and imo will always be bread and butter cash for hedge funds selling it down & depressing the share price until an interest date is imminent at which time they can start a buy back on the cheap. Only thing I hang on to is that simple fact House Buying is still popular in this country and one of the few ways the government ( especially one that needs all the votes it can get) will keep throwing cash at buyers thus fueling the need for House building. | gbh2
15/4/2019 12:46 | Jugears In case you hadn't noticed these are only in the 180s. The share price cratered, too far, and has since bounced but don't get all excited and the £3 stuff is irrational | marksp2011
15/4/2019 12:31 | Gbh2, As you know I like a bit of banter, it's been getting a bit boring on here since I proved that other Little W----R wrong that was professing doom & gloom & the share price to fall, IMHO if it was not for Brexit these would be nearer £3 now. | jugears
15/4/2019 12:25 | LOL, last we'll see of you on this thread if you Filter Jugears :)) | gbh2
15/4/2019 11:11 | then why call yourself jugears, 'Ears that stick out markedly from the side of the head, thus resembling the handles of a jug. ' like a wingnut don't bother answering. and if you aren't prepared to support our fellow creatures that's your problem. i'll filter you. | owencoffin |
