Gbh2 I am used to working 7 days a week very often until midnight so not sure I will ever be able to fully retire, My dad worked until he was 78.

gbh2, Thanks, not enough hours in the day at the moment,Demand is bigger than I have seen for many years & I have stopped taking on new work until next year, & I am supposed to be semi retiring soon !

Kicking myself for missing low 150's but made nice profit today. Sold 169p. Buy on drops, but as Rockefeller said he never bought at the bottom or sold at the top, but made a few bob.

Interesting that EU denied agreement on Financial Services deal ... must be true then. Also Numis talking up PSN and suggest next update will surprise to the upside. Canacord also issued update taliking up builders now some stability from Budget going forward. Fonterra say they are buoyant, although may need to shut plant for six weeks maintenance. I guess they are just talking up the price of bricks. Ibstock responding well to that statement. Would be good to get the next batch of trading updates with a positive backdrop, rather than a negative one. Just hope macro events stay subdued for a while.

Jug. Makes me smile... the price is background noise for us I think. Keep taking the divi. Although Gbh2 has done well there ... I would never be that smart or lucky. (Actually I am lucky) still long term hold for me.

Well 171.00 was break even for me with dividends and dealing. Not the worst result considering the FTSE 100 is down at 7150.

I hope so but imo any increase prior to Results Feb 2019 will much depend upon what's said in Nov 2018 & Jan 2019 Updates.

Not forgetting any affect (positive / negative) the current Political wrangling between the EU dictatorship are our weak Government might cause.

Edit: I must admit I don't expect changes in the share price over the next 5 to 10 years to be anything but positive, however long term simply isn't my game plan.

The same lefties who have been hijacking this thread with bankruptcy warnings, in spite of TW's half billion plus cash/ zero debt position, will no doubt be crying foul when we get the near billion pound profit announcement next year plus an11% dividend or so off today's price.
You can't win as a builder, you're cheered into bankruptcy or hated when you make mega profits.

Jugears: I'm not sure all these things combined are little things, although the whole China trade war with USA is just smoke without fire. The market moves on emotion not logic but a correction was expected sooner or later at least it's out the way now.

Only PIs need balls, imo the Hedge Fund Traders have the cash to drive the share price any which way they see an financial advantage.
