02/2/2012 20:09 | That's why I say they are 50/50 as by default it has to be. Every share sold is bought. Every share bought is sold. Crossed wires I think. | ![]() spennysimmo
02/2/2012 19:40 | Spenny, me old codger, where do you get that info from, the buy/sell entries aren't reliable to justify that comment old bean | edsthebusiness

02/2/2012 13:52 | Spenny, I have to agree that for every buyer there is a seller. Nevertheless the daily real time trade data shows whether the pressure on the spread was driven by buyers buying or sellers selling. Having said that there has been a big sale of 900k shares since my original post but the share price seems to have shrugged it off | ![]() 127tolmers
02/2/2012 11:39 | The ratio of buyers to sellers is 50/50. | ![]() spennysimmo
02/2/2012 10:41 | The ratio of buyers to sellers shows signs of encouragement today even though FTSE is off a bit. | ![]() 127tolmers
02/2/2012 09:11 | Purely because Citi did a sector review, TW. have reached fair value in their view so got moved to neutral (=hold). Probably re-assess after Finals. | ![]() sir rational

01/2/2012 14:32 | Indeed, no-one's expecting a market cap of £15bn! I was really trying to point out the long-term recovery from the 1993 collapse - there will be another boom at some point in the future, history does repeat itself.... | ![]() slytherin
01/2/2012 13:42 | slytherin - apples and pears, I'm afraid, after the 2 for 1 rights issue (or equivanent) back in 2009. The 'equivalent' price to 500 is 167p. Still, I'll take 167p... | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell
01/2/2012 13:42 | Slytherin, I would expect most of the funds to be interested in some dividend income to offset their fund management charges. I am sure they have made their views known to management. | ![]() 127tolmers
01/2/2012 13:13 | If this data is current, then 7 key shareholders control 47% of the stock. Their outlook therefore quite influential: Major Shareholders Stake % Blackrock Inc 9.81 Third Avenue Management LLC 5.98 JP Morgan Asset Management 4.99 Legal & General Investment Management 3.98 Ignis Investment Services Ltd 3.05 Standard Life Invs Ltd 3.01 Schroders PLC 16.09 Total 46.91 | ![]() slytherin
01/2/2012 13:02 | TW hit highs on 15/4/2009, 20/4/2010 and 25/3/2011 each time with good performance in Feb & March. Another 10% to 46-47 would be enough this time round for an nice end March sale perhaps a liitle earlier ahead of another austerity budget. A promise to reinstate the divi in 2012 would not go amiss. A 0.5p interim would be a strong signal. | ![]() 127tolmers

01/2/2012 11:27 | Well here's hoping - sometimes the simple charts say the most: Get through 44, and it'll be 50p next. The trouble is, that's what I thought in April 2010 and March 2011... | ![]() imastu pidgitaswell
