15/8/2024 16:39 | First-port reviews pouring in thick and fast. I guess the lesson being, if you think you’re buying any freehold house on a new housing estate, for god’s sake read the reviews of the management company you are probably inadvertently signing up to…. hxxps://uk.trustpilo com/review/www.first | kreature
15/8/2024 11:57 | The share price is rising on sentiment in the markets. Plus some investors believing that HBs will benefit massively from the govn MANDATORY plans to build 1.5m new homes, thousands of cheaper social homes. It's 1st time since 1950s that a govn has had mandatory plans to build new homes. The govn hopes by increasing supply it will stabilise prices. The risk being oversupply will crash prices. The fact is HBs reduced number of new builds due to lack of demand, which is because of affordability (read the TUs yourselves). Given HBs themselves have reduced the number of new builds then why would they build thousands of cheaper social homes? Read the update. "While interest rates and mortgage rates remain high, our teams continue to work extremely hard on the ground to support our customers through the homebuying process" In other words, they are using incentives to encourage buyers. "Though it is early days for the new Government, we welcome their recognition that planning is a major barrier to economic growth, of which housebuilding is a significant component, and we look forward to working constructively with them to deliver much needed new homes across the UK." It just goes to show, house building isn't down because of planning. It's lower due to affordability. Doesn't inspire confidence in Govn plans to build 1.5m homes. "Total UK average selling price on completions decreased by 0.9% to £317k (H1 2023: £320k) due to both underlying price deflation and mix" | sikhthetech
15/8/2024 11:04 | Post 28352 Lol. In fairness, and for balance, that is hilarious. 50k instead of 500k. Must be some considerable doubts and reservations | kreature
15/8/2024 07:16 | Sikh tbf I think these could go to £4-5 in the next cycle £1.80-£2.00 is more than achievable in the near future IMEO. I bought 50k at 1.48 ,you don't need to worry about when I invest the rest, follow your own lead not mine but so flattered that you waste your time trawling through my old post, it's a real honour but you know life is to short, get a life old man! Explain the hindsight bit I don't understand what you mean? other than I had hindsight to buy at 1.89 & 1.98 & now £1.48, If in the unlikely event that they fell to circa £1 again I would put the rest of my money in but we both know that wont be happening again, so if I've missed the boat then I've missed it, it's not as if i need the money for anything is it, I am not even taking dividends in cash now. | jugears
15/8/2024 07:07 | Sikhthetech, I qoute you... "My own opinions based on my experience and research" END. Lol! "Beckers2008 - 11 Aug 2024 - 19:39:53 - 18891 of 18905 Sikhthetech, I qoute you... ""I thought you liked dJugears/Becky. But agree they do whinge a lot, helps to divert away being wrong all the time. lol"" END. I have been wrong all the time buying at 86p? Wrong to make a profit? | beckers2008

14/8/2024 20:34 | Jugears, "Jugears target 1.80-2.60" Hindsight, yet again!!! So you're backing your stance and loading up with the 500k that you've been saying you would do? If not, why not? Don't you believe your own assertion but you want others to, so you can reduce your huge losses!!! Btw, what happened to your 300p target??? | sikhthetech
14/8/2024 20:31 | Kreature, "Part of the UK Jugs. UPS deliver next day. Hope that helps" So does Jugears!!! Jugears has a long history of twisting posts to suit the current situation. If Scottish Housebuilding was booming he would soon say that he supplies there or he has friends etc JUGEARS - 09 Nov 2022 - 15:43:55 - 11154 of 18919 cupra, I'm midland based, but supply to sites anywhere in England Scotland & Wales & occasionally the South of France & Gibraltar, although through other people that we supply to our work can go anywhere in the world. | sikhthetech

14/8/2024 12:08 | Sikhthetech, I qoute you... "Those who shorted on the way down and then traded on the way up have done better than those who simply loaded up on the way down, as they would have benefited from moves in both directions." END You are simply a fraud who is a clueless mug-punter and whom has lost it's shirt from October 2018 when it called TW. short, lol! 14/8/2024 11:58 | I have never bought any shares here above 1.80??? I think it almost impossible that we will ever see an over supply in New houses, the last government didn't meet targets & this one won't either. I'm afraid demand is going to out strip supply for many years to come, meaning higher house prices, higher profits, higher dividends & higher special dividends all good for long term share holders, Imeo we will see Tw share price rise steadily now, £1.80- £2.00 easily. | jugears
14/8/2024 10:52 | spudders, Being a lth, you would have seen the share price movements before GFC to now. Housing market is cyclical. I post the company/sector newsflow and opinions based on those and my own research/experience. The newsflow has been as expected. Those who shorted on the way down and then traded on the way up have done better than those who simply loaded up on the way down, as they would have benefited from moves in both directions. Where is the housing market heading and how will it impact HBs is what's important. | sikhthetech |
