Newkid - apologies for confusion but that is what I meant they have improved margins this year but the key is to ensure they maintain them even if the selling value drops.. Interesting point you make about the costs of workers. During the recession / downturn I have worked for two large construction co's both of which have had some sort of pay freeze.

FEWDOLLARSMORE. I think you will find that margins are the same if not better even with the price drop. There's a hell of a lot of tradesman looking for work at greatly reduced rates from the boom period. I have heard that there are contractors doing work at cost just to keep their workforce together.
