22/7/2021 09:44 | Russman are you a bitter ex employee by any chance? Look we all know you have issues with this share but your constant criticism will do nothing to help it. Any prospective investors may be put off so I don’t see what you think you are achieving. You aren’t the only one but is suspect you have multiple identities on here. I have been critical in the past but the price has risen from 1.5p to 4.5p so whatever number of shares you hold have shown a vast improvement in value recently. | mandarin4
21/7/2021 17:47 | Why share when you can have it all in bonus etc | russman
21/7/2021 07:07 | How about a special dividend of say 2p. Come Raven and Cook. Sharing is caring. Give us a small slice of the cash. 2p. That leaves you plenty to go off and buy stuff. Or is it that now you have sold the only part that was making money the company will be losing 2 million a year. Maybe more. | markgordon1
20/7/2021 19:34 | Big Historic Negatives outweigh small future positives. | russman
20/7/2021 10:19 | Spread below 5%, never seen that. Usually around 12-15% ? | mandarin4
16/7/2021 07:59 | @chrisdgb - With the last announcement indicating the cash the business will receive for the deal with Titan the market is fully aware of this 6.5p per share value but no one is willing to buy up to this. So it is not a cash of being undervalued as there a financial tangible valuation which underpins the price. There seems to be little bleating and moaning currently going on about the share price so I feel that many have exited on what looks a break even price for most. If you bought at 6p+ just face the fact you had a high entrance point. It is better to look at it this way - WHY is the market discounting the share price, consider these factors discounting it and reflect on whether they are fair or not. 1.. Management history on trying to put through incentives, share options etc. will this cash received add value 2.. The value of the remaining business (is this positive or negative) 3.. Management use of the received cash and the price and value they have achieved with previous acquisitions 4.. History of restructuring and the success of iStock 5.. The Bartlett fraud and provisions against it 6.. The financial books and their opaqueness (TEAM could not make head nor tail of them) Are these points positive or negative and do they play on future investors mind. | origami74
15/7/2021 09:32 | Nice to see stability at this price but it is still massively undervalued, look forward to some of the upcoming deals.. | chrisdgb

27/6/2021 20:03 | Thanks QPYour knowledge of this company is unbelievable in completeness So the company sells Wealth for a great price. £20 m upfront.90% of the assets under management in the funds come from the advisers. It is their clients money. If I was an adviser I would want a cut off that £20 million.Just saying | markgordon1
27/6/2021 13:33 | Thanks. Missed that. | davebowler
26/6/2021 09:37 | It's just happening now. It's new news and unlikely to be reflected in Stockopedia. The sale by Tavistock of their Fund Management unit was only announced a fortnight ago on 14/6 when Titan agreed to pay £40m and it's going through the works now. See latest Tavi RNS's. | quepassa
26/6/2021 08:26 | Interesting. I've just had the proceeds of AFH convertibles. I've looked on Stockopedia but there's no sign of the £40m cash on their summary. | davebowler
25/6/2021 15:45 | Listen up, the statement I copied was from the same note/update. You said they gave NO view which is rubbish, they clearly did. Why are you not answering my question about the relevance of the regulator. What point were you trying to make.? | mandarin4

25/6/2021 15:23 | Listen up. House broker and NOMAD, Allenby Capital wrote a Company Note/ Update on 15th. June following the announcement of the sale to Titan. Allenby Capital have given an astonishing Sum of Parts valuation for Tavistock at a conservative 14p per share. They suggest that the value for Tavistock's remaining ADVISORY BUSINESS is some £45million. Allenby Capital write "... we clearly believe there is further upside to come". With shares currently trading around 5p against Allenby's CONSERVATIVE SUM OF PARTS VALUATION OF 14p, the shares look dirt cheap and nowhere near being up with events. This Company Note/Update on Tavistock by Allenby Capital can readily be found on the Allenby Capital website in the Research tab. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
25/6/2021 15:14 | This statement is taken directly from Allenby. Seems to show a view and seems to show a price they think the share is worth…… [quote] is more often at c.3x revenues) creates a total group value of £85m or 14p per share. All I can say is Allenby must be deluded as the share price is 1/3rd of what they state, the market is the only valuation that matters to me. What relevance you place on the regulators is unknown, your point being ? | mandarin4
25/6/2021 14:51 | You have missed the point entirely. Allenby didn't give any view. Allenby have not given any view or recommendation or target price. They have given a sum of the parts valuation of the intrinsic value of the business. An SOP valuation is very different to a stock market price and market capitalisation. Why have you avoided answering the question about who regulates Allenby? | quepassa
25/6/2021 14:23 | Indeed Tavistock pays them so one could conclude that they are hardly independent in their views. It would be great for the shares to hit 14p but until it happens I wouldn’t take a paid advisers view. | mandarin4
25/6/2021 11:43 | NOTA BENE 1. Allenby have NOT given a BUY/SELL/HOLD/NEUTRA 2. Allenby have not given a TARGET PRICE Allenby have given a SUM OF THE PARTS VALUATION and that is a fairly simple and straightforward calculation. Allenby have said they reckon the business is worth some £85million conservatively. They have shown that the business comprises 1. Cash of £40million. (discounted at a massive 5%) 2. ADVISORY BUSINESS £45million ( based on 2x HISTORIC revenues) They even point out that sector multipliers are normally 3x HISTORIC revenues for M&A activity. And that is why they say £85million is a CONSERVATIVE S.O.P. valuation. Not much rocket-science or pie-in-the-sky in those figures and calculations. ALL IMO. DYOR. QP | quepassa
25/6/2021 11:25 | They get paid by Tavistock. Question: M4, who regulates Allenby ? | quepassa
25/6/2021 11:18 | QP, who pays Allenby ? | mandarin4
25/6/2021 08:24 | Thanks for the research heads up......14p sounds OK.. | chrisdgb
