Nice perk of a directors job in a UK listed company, being able to buy (or sell) shares after the year end but before the public gets to see the numbers, which as a director they surely must be seeing !!

(I'd ban that if I ran the mkt)

So what do you estimate TAVI CEO will "earn" in the year to 31st March. Include the bonuses, share options & growth share incentive arrangement.

More misinformation and fake news from Russman.

See two RNS's from June 2021 last year, of which this is a copy of just one:-

"15 June 2021

Tavistock announces that the Company's Chairman, Oliver Cooke, and its Chief Executive, Brian Raven, have today respectively purchased 1,080,000 and 900,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company at a price of 5.5p per share.

Following these transactions, Mr Cooke is interested in 30,039,256 ordinary shares of 1p each representing 4.94 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company, and Mr Raven is interested in 68,322,362 ordinary shares of 1p each representing 11.24 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company."

This RNS alone was for £110,000 of Director Buying.

The second RNS in June 2021 last year was for a further £35,000 worth of shares (see RNS 24/6/21)

Between this week's two RNS's and the two in June last year, Director Buying by the CEO and Chairman has totalled approaching £175,000 in just twelve months.

Hardly small.

You don't see many CEO/Chairman jointly splashing out £175,000 on shares in the Company they run within the space of a year.

As Major Shareholders, the management are highly motivated with such skin in the game, such large personal stakes and such large purchases of shares to increase the value and market cap of the Company.

Role model, Alan Hudson, is perhaps a good example and hopefully points the direction of travel who built the market cap of his Company, AFH Financial from just £11m upon flotation in 2011 to a quarter of a billion sterling market cap until it was taken over last year.

As Management are only too aware, that is how and where the real SHAREHOLDER money is made and by keeping a tight lid on central costs.

And yet FURTHER DIRECTOR BUYING today.

See this afternoon's RNS.

This time The Chairman adds another 130,000 shares to bring his holding to 30.5 million shares being just under 5.5% of The Company.

The two top Directors -CEO & Chairman- both buying consecutively in two days is a strong signal of senior management faith in the prospects of Tavistock Investments.

Disciples of Director Buying should take note.

Arguably excessive options for dirs does not align dirs correctly with shareholders imo.

It can encourage dirs to take too much risk, too much debt, too much gearing.

And imho better & tighter rules are needed.
(If I was running mkts I would say
' these are the rules
If you don't like them then don't list'.

;-)

Surprised to see the 2 execs buying, interesting.

Is it phps to make the mkt like them
& then, bang, they exercise X% of the co. as options.
...yes, I'm oldish & a bit cynical after seeing so much dodgy dir. actions over the years.

Fair play, always positive to see directors buying some shares. His are probably averaged to 2.6p now… but at least some are bought at this price to give a signal of intent. At least they weren’t gifts.
Let’s hope this kicks on now and we can all see what QP has been on about.

Putting your money on the table.

The CEO buys another 230,000 shares for c £19,000 at 8.16p per share

Bringing his holding to 69.6million shares being just under 12.5% of Tavistock Investments.

Skin in The Game. Real Skin in The Game.

Management have a lot to lose with such a big personal stake in The Company and a lot to gain if they get it right. This sharpens the wits and keeps them on their toes and highly motivated to make it work.

They must have strong faith in the prospects of The Company to be adding further.

Risk sharing between shareholders and Management is fully aligned. Both sharing upside and downside risk alike.

A strong signal for followers of Director Buying.

Sour grapes yet again from the bulletin board's number two curmudgeon, as the share price rallies a further 8.5% on the back of an exceptionally strong Trading Update

As always - Russman is 100% hindsight and 0% foresight.

An excellent Trading Update from burgeoning Tavistock Investments who have produced their most successful trading year in their history.

An astute choice by highly acclaimed financial journalist, Simon Thompson who named Tavistock Investments as his top pick in his Investors Chronicle list of Bargain Shares for 2022.

With more to come.

Pay yourself a dividend so you can "afford" to exercise your options.
No mention of EPS i.e net profit per share.

Delighted to see this back up from the embarrassingly low value. The RNS was very positive, the dividend improving, that’s what all shareholders want to see.
So now I’m even, can we push on and make some money to give me some profit after inflation?
Would love to see this near the ‘sun of all parts’ valuation.
Or even a takeover pushing the share price up as seen by others in this sector.

That’s what you put people through…. I hung in. Many didn’t.
It’s amazing it’s got to here, some may say thanks to the management, some may say despite the management.

You can have mine for 6.25p. Send me a message"

Is the offer still valid?

And if you had wanted to sell at 6.25p, you have had ample opportunity to do so.
Surprised you are still here.

You can say the share has a 400% increase in 18 months.
I could say I can sell at the price I bought in all those years ago with zero increase in approx 8 years….
