I wonder how it will unfold here.
Restaurant Group think that pick up will be very slow post-isolation, although there must be a lot of pent up demand to get out and party.

If they can survive, there should be a lot less competition. No debt, but not much in the way of a liquidity buffer and limited London presence. Difficult to see landlords wanting to pull the rug - not as if they'll have tenants queueing up.

Just punters I suspect fairly big ones though. Heads you win tails you lose.

Seems like a sensible statement and, under the circumstance, quite positive. Not sure why the share price needs to fall at all, let alone by this much?

No business rates for a year will help.

I guess they will be haemorrhaging cash pretty soon.

With Covid I agree they are more encouraging than I anticipated.

Interesting - at the current shareprice the business is valued at £0. Market cap is £2.89 and current net cash is the same !

If it weren't for Covid-19, the figures actually look quite encouraging. Just as well they managed to get rid of their bank loan before all this started, so they are sitting with cash.

Well yes but disclosing that information then reveals what is left which appears to be SFA.

Selling £0.1m EBITDA at a multiple of 20 is a no-brainer.

For how long can they buy time by selling "the family silver"?This site accounted for two thirds of EBITDA.Also this appears to be the first time that they have disclosed that they are receiving "support " from their landlords.I really cannot see this surviving.

We have a DIM-T and a Wildwood locally and they both look pretty good, and busy which is good!

Spent 200k capex on 57 stores. Not long before they will look shabby.....if they don't already.

It looks to me that they will require a further cash injection.Working capital looks tight.Quarterly rent days must be a worry.

Gross profit for restaurants is often after restaurant staff costs. Makes sense when you think about it.
