24/2/2021 13:49 | My thoughts? It’s a raging buy imo. Read the past posts on this thread. Let’s face it, it won’t take long. Read up on Florence. What more do you need? | jbravo2
24/2/2021 13:46 | Still just looks an odd pricing then IMO. Let's see what the results say before taking a further view. Have freed up some cash to react accordingly....DYOR | qs99
24/2/2021 13:38 | This one has been on my watch list since 65p but haven’t taken the plunge. Update due after Canadian close tonight I understand? What’s folks thoughts on this one ? Appreciated | paulo435
24/2/2021 10:52 | This is listed on AMEX under TGB and Toronto under TKO . Tighter spread, more volume and therefore liquidity. Obviously currency complexities but much better place to deal if you can. I bought some TGB yesterday through ii. Good luck | nitnia
24/2/2021 10:18 | Tried to buy some yesterday morning with ii, but no joy. Any ideas folks? | pughman
23/2/2021 22:53 | At current spot prices we will double EBITA from $110m in 2020 to $220m y/e 2021 on net production of c.100mlbs, overlay Flo annualised incremental production of 80mlbs and TKO is a serious mid tier miner earning $400m ebita per annum so the size of the near term price is quite significant. We are one permit and 2 years away from being a $3-4bn company. I’m quite excited about Yellowhead too further down the line. | rimau1
23/2/2021 21:03 | Yeah it’ll be rubbish if it only gains 5p a day won’t it?! Ha ha. I think this is bubbling up nicely. Price of copper and Flo to send us a lot higher yet | jbravo2
23/2/2021 20:43 | And copper nicely through $4.2..... | qs99
23/2/2021 20:06 | Yup, shame it couldn't hold its initial gains...have a good evening | qs99
23/2/2021 16:58 | Blimey! Over 70k volume in the UK!! Another decent day | jbravo2
23/2/2021 13:42 | pushing on again, nice to see... | qs99
23/2/2021 08:25 | Oops, soz, can't even get the ticker right in my speed of posting! hehe.... Nice start to the day jbravo! Cheers QS99 | qs99
22/2/2021 16:28 | Moving up to new highs in the US TEK? Who’s TEK? :D This should move up again tomorrow. Already behind the main markets. Good volume over there too. If it stays like this I’ll buy over here again and the race will be on at 8am with the other 5 people here :D | jbravo2
22/2/2021 13:24 | Yes it is the old EMED. not sure about the history, but bought in at c.£1.50 on back of copper price rise and haven't looked back since 21 Jan 2021 presentation on its website made me top up more as well. THink it is still UV at today's price....DYOR naturally! Good to see TEK on the leader board today! cheers | qs99
22/2/2021 12:04 | ATYM hey? That (EMED) was my first ever "large position" I started buying that in July 09 and accumulated a massive position only to exit asap after the March 12 Andalucian election results after the PSOE clung to power with their alliance. I had become convinced the mine would never open under those &%*£@$^. I sold all my shares at a small profit for nearly 11p. Didn't they then go through a 30:1 consolidation as the mine was eventually approved, financed and opened? So looking at them now, they're finally back over my exit price some 9 years later. Always swore I'd never invest in Spain again. Haven't thus far, however I'm not quite so black and white in my viewpoint anymore. :D | jbravo2
22/2/2021 11:31 | thanks both I took the debt raise as the big positive as why led to a company, at that level, if things were unlikely to be super +ve! Maybe a naïve approach but hey..... Have taken a reasonable position. ATYM and CAML/GLEN/JLP are my other copper plays just FYI. Good to be on board cheers QS99 | qs99
22/2/2021 11:21 | Yes, its billed as "early 2021". That's as much insight as we've been given | jbravo2
22/2/2021 11:06 | Final permit approval can land at any time. IMO its now a formality, the final uncertainty was the removal of the objection from the Council. The other clue is that the recent debt raise means that TKO are proceeding to final design and beginning to procure long lead items. The good news is we are under the radar and the spread puts newbies off so still time to accumulate. Anybody venture a realistic (not blue sky) stock price if the final permit rns lands? Trying to decide if its worth waiting on the approval for my final top up! There is so little stock that it may be impossible to buy when the rns lands | rimau1
22/2/2021 10:46 | thanks jbravo when are they expecting the permit approval, apologies for the obvious question and slightly being lazy! Cheers QS99 | qs99
22/2/2021 10:42 | I guess stock is pretty thin on the ground right now... :D | jbravo2
22/2/2021 10:07 | Not really no. Just needs that last permit. Like I've said previously, if they're not going to permit this type of mine, with its lower environmental impact, which type will they permit???? | jbravo2
22/2/2021 09:56 | 95000 tonnes p/a from next year? Back of a cigarette packet calcs make this a gross profit of circa $500mil at current prices, or am I missing something? | allviewswelcome
22/2/2021 09:46 | It's not really about the results though. (Unless you mean they may provide a buying opp?) Copper price wasn't great through the first half last year and whilst its nice to have the second largest open pit copper mine in Canada the exponential growth comes if we get Florence approved. Pretty much doubling production but with nice low costs and the "green footprint" that may appeal to a large corporation. @allviews Not many know about it this side of the pond for sure. I started buying in November then tipped this on the wanobi thread on Dec 9, but frankly couldn't be bothered to work out how to set headers etc for a thread so didn't set one up. Thankfully someuwin obliged not too long after. | jbravo2
22/2/2021 09:44 | It's unbelieveably quiet on the bulletin boards for this share. Does anyone know this exists? Virtually no stock available on line, £190 at 130p. | allviewswelcome
22/2/2021 08:52 | Thanks! May look to buy some more depending on results this week. Thought a little dabble ahead of them then analyse and see how market takes them. cheers all QS99 | qs99 |
